Stephen Sillari founded two companies in Cambridge, Massachusetts soon after moving there full-time in 2001. Sillari, who was raised in nearby Somerville, Massachusetts, founded Levelway, an information technology research consortium that offers research tools to small and local companies. The other company was a nonprofit called WebHood Incorporated, that worked to expand computer and Internet access to local urban areas, both training people how to refurbish and repair computers, and placing those computers in non-profit community centers. Sillari now works for CA Technologies.
