Wolf Tech 7 - The Cats

Chapter 12

Adam sighed,  when Zane told him he was bringing in some of the cats, since they were already having the Folicans visit, *We'll have to introduce them eventually. Who is coming?*

He stopped running and changed form, "We have some unexpected guests. They have unlimited access to the pack territory for reasons you'll understand later. You are still invited so don't worry about that." Zane had to resist the urge to thump his head on a tree. It was still one of his go-to expressions of irritation when things like this happened, *Two Elders; former-Alphas Fast Paws and Anila. Sharp Tooth wanted to come along as well. I was going to invite them to have dinner in my section and breakfast with the pack tomorrow.*

*Excellent. If they need help understanding, let Tala and her team know, and they can translate. Breakfast tomorrow will be better for them to meet the pack.* Adam sent back, with some amusement.

The three exchanged a glance, but Anila just nodded for them, and waved her tail to continue. Zane hadn't set a very hard run on the way in, so they were looking around at the lush forest.

Zane had to sigh, "Tomorrow you'll meet our guests. They are special and important to our pack and several others." Beyond that he wasn't going say anything, *Tessa have our section set up for a dinner with guests from the new pride we discovered. Have several rooms cleaned and ready. Two are Elders and mates, the third is fairly senior.* He had to smile when she grumbled at him over the bonds though he knew she really didn't have a problem.

"Tonight, as I said, you are invited to my portion of the pack building. For the most senior members we have a team which looks to us. For the more junior pack members it isn't as structured. I'll warn you there are plenty of pups who'll want to crawl on you." They were one of the most fertile of the pack as much as he hated to admit it.

He changed back to his wolf. With a shake of his body he headed the rest of the way to the pack house. Even as he was slowly running he ensured to let the pack and especially the Folician's to remain away until he had the three in his section. Once there he was sure they weren't going to want to do much. Cats were good at short term runs but wolves excelled at the the longer ones. He'd kept the pace down, but the run was going to have worn them out.

It didn't take much longer for them to reach the pack house led them up the stairs to their suite before he changed again, "Please change and dress." He moved forward and gave Olivia and then Oscar a good hug, "This is my sister Olivia and her mate Oscar. They'll ensure you have what is needed for your stay." He didn't really think when he hugged Olivia and relaxed. To the others it showed.

The three were trying to not stare as the packhouse came into view.

*It's a castle!* Fast Paws exclaimed, *It's a bloody castle* The outside of the building was stone, but with many windows, that actually had glass in all of them! He was very surprised and nearly stumbled before they even reached the doors. He could see warm wood used for the deck, with many windows in the building. All seemed to have no shutters, just a steel box above them. The door looked respectfully heavy, but it moved easily and without sound as Zane led them inside. Going up the many stairs in feral form took a little work, so they didn't look much around, but getting to the top, the view was very nice; almost like sitting on a mountain cliff. They followed Zane through another door into what Fast Paws would call a sitting room, but likely the name was different.

As usual, Zane pulled on some shorts and a shirt, "Come, change and we'll show you to my team's quarters." He knew they were probably going to be overwhelmed at the size of the building, but he was doing his best to help them to relax.
