February.

You're probably thinking "what's so significant about February?"

Well, there's a special holiday in February called Valentine's Day.

You might love or you might hate it.

For me, i love it.

Only for one reason and one reason only.
Park Jisung.

Park Jisung was known as Cupid during this time of year.

The whole month he would go around classes singing and dancing for people given a candy gram.

I have him in my classes every year and I don't usually see him, well this side of him.

When he's Cupid, I see all of his passion for music and his talent.

Obviously, this meant I wasn't the only one crushing on Jisung.

All the girls swooned over him. He had the looks, talent and he had a great sense of humour.

Unfortunately for me, I'm invisible.

Not literally, but metaphorically.

I guess that's what happens when you're not popular. But who needs popularity anyways? I have one good friend and that's way better than a bunch of acquaintances.

But if you're popular, you have a better chance of being friends with Jisung because
He's also popular.

I walked into math class before the bell rang and sat at my usual spot by the window.

Math class wasn't really a class where I payed attention, so typically I would just stare out the window and listen to music with my earbuds.

Today was one of those days where my one only friend skipped class.

My friend, Jisoo, is what I like to call "middle class popular". She has enough friends to be first class popular but she isn't because she hangs out with me.

Since she's got other friends, she hangs out with them sometimes and that means that she'll skip class just to do so.

Recently she's been hanging out with them a lot. So I didn't really expect her to come to class today.

But I mean who would want to come to math class anyways if you have better things to do.

I doodled little sketches in my math book while the teacher was talking about different kinds of triangles.

"Jisung." The teacher called out.

I looked up to see a tired looking boy standing at the front of the room.

"Sorry, I know I'm late. I was busy doing the candy grams but Jaemin is sick so I'm a little off schedule."

"Very well. Take a seat." The teacher pointed towards the desks.

I went back to sketching in my book when I saw a shadow approaching.

I thought it was just a person walking by but then the person pulled out the chair next to me.

I took a glance over, only to see Jisung sitting next to me.

"Aria, do you know what assignment we're working on?" He asked.

I was genuinely shocked about the fact that he knew my name.

I didn't think he payed attention enough to care.

Then again, I'm over thinking it.
How hard is is to remember a name?
Not hard at all.

"If I'm being honest. I don't really pay attention in this class. I usually just sketch stuff and listen to music."

"You always are listening to music." He laughed.

So he does know I exist.

"Sorry that I couldn't help, but I could ask the teacher if you want?" I offered.

He smiled. "Actually i only asked as an excuse to talk to you."

I was confused and my heart started to race.

"Why would you want to talk to me?"

"Well Jaemin's got the fever and he usually helps me with the candy grams but since he's sick I don't have anyone to help. I was wondering if you're free? We have the exact same schedule so I don't think it'd be a problem."

I guess he paid more attention to me than I thought.

"What do I have to do?"
