It fell softly, almost gracefully. Each piece of fluff was a different mixture of several hues of gray and white, no two the same. It's taste was bitter on my skin, numbing my body and my mind. It kept drifting despite the sun's composure, piling up slowly killing everything around it. It's subtle smell was soaking my clothes. Taking it all in, I spun around, hearing it crumble under the rubber soles of my canvas shoes. I could feel the throes of winter surrounding me.
