Maple stood in the Spirit Cave. She trotted lightly and floated to greet the other spirits. She stood in the center of the cave and could see other spirits sharing tongues. Then she felt a tingling feeling through her pelt. Then her eyes started to glow and her head jerked up at the moon that was shining through the hole in the top of the cave.
She saw a paw that unsheathed its claws and scratched at something. She saw a cat as white as frost heart melting to blood. A wide grin that lead to a river of blood that drowned her.
She snapped back. "Are you ok?" She could barely hear cats ask.
"A cat as white as snow will unleash her demons." She then turned and disappeared into the sky.
