*This takes place after the events of Naruto the Last*
"Naruto-kun?" Hinata calls out towards her favorite blond. She just walked into his apartment, using the key Naruto gave her, and her next step is to actually find the person who lives there. Not getting a response, Hinata decides to walk into Naruto's room, which she finds is empty. "Huh?.....Where could he be?" she mumbles as her eyes scan the contents of the room. When her confused, lavender eyes land on a note pinned to the wall, she quizzically walks over to start reading the note.
"Hello Hinata-chan! If you're reading this then it seems you really are using the key I gave you! Anyways, I'm sorry that I'm not here to welcome you myself, but I'm going to a meeting with Kakashi-sensei!.......I try to make that sound exciting but we both know these meetings are boring as hell. Anyhow~ this is getting me ready to be hokage so I'll pull through, Believe it! Hahaha, again, sorry Hinata-chan I'll be sure to find you after it's all over. Bye!"
Hinata blinks as she finishes reading the note out loud. 'Oh, I guess I can get some training done in the mean time.' she thinks while straightening back up, for she had to bend over to read the lowly placed note. With a smile and a skip in her step, Hinata heads to train while saying "I haven't been to the waterfall in a while!"
*Around 10 mins later Hinata has made it to the waterfall*
"Byakugan!" Veins protrude around Hinata's eyes instantly upon the exclaimed phrase. She is sure to do a thorough scan of the area before slowly slipping out of her clothes. Upon being fully free, Hinata deactivates her byakugan. Along with the veins, any stress or hesitation drifts away from her consciousness, leaving her to fully enjoy the feeling of the cool water as she uses chakra to walk to the middle of the waterfall. A smile makes its way onto her face as she begins one of the many spins of the night, the water following her every move.
*With Naruto after the meeting and 7 mins of looking for Hinata*
"Just where did she go" Naruto grumbles out while furrowing his eyebrows. Sure, not that much time had passed, but Naruto was never a patient person. 'I guess this calls for sage mode!' he thinks as his way of getting out of actually having to search any longer. Being as his search brought him to the forest already, finding Hinata's exact location was made even easier.
With that, Naruto takes to the trees to surprise his beautiful girlfriend. As Naruto got closer he began to here the sounds of a waterfall. That brought back a memory from quite a long time ago. One that he still sometimes dreamed about to this day, though he wasn't planning on ever telling Hinata about this certain dream of his. Naruto quickly shook his head to get rid of the thought and continued closer to the sound of running, or is it falling?, water.
With a final, but silent, jump onto the next tree limb, Naruto was prepared to jump down and greet Hinata. Key word: was. His plan completely left his mind at the sight that greeted him instead.
"It's her! The girl from last time!" Naruto hurriedly whispers to himself. He also took the time to see how much that girl from last time grew. *cough cough ;)* After ogling a bit longer, Naruto finally remembered his reason for being there. This is where he starts to be confused.......again. Naruto knew that this was where Hinata's chakra signature came from, but he just couldn't find her anywhere. One thing he did find in his search was a pile of clothes. A pile of Hinata's clothes.
"......Oh...." It finally clicks to Naruto who the beautiful dancing girl is. The revelation was so big that Naruto ended up pulling a Hinata. By that, he fainted........and fell..........and fell........and fell (hey, he was on a high branch.) He fell until his body made contact with the ground. A fall from that height definitely didn't go unnoticed.
"N-n-naruto-kun!?"
