"I feel like I could eat the world raw."

―Song of Achilles

Orpheus

Jeff the Killer:
You felt as though your body was on fire, your heart pumping with the beat of the stereo in your car. Every sense in your body was heightened simply by the presence of the man next to you.

"You know," the male said. "You have some damn good taste in music." You smiled as your eyes flickered over to your soulmate, Jeff, as he had introduced himself. His pale hand tapped along to the beat of the music on the dashboard. You hummed appreciatively as you noticed the muscle that lined his arms. You certainly couldn't complain about your soulmate not being attractive that was for sure.

"I am well aware," you said smoothly, your mouth turned in a clumsy grin. Jeff mirrored your grin and turned the music up even more. Despite your better judgement you had invited Jeff to the party with you after just meeting in the convenience store. Perhaps this wasn't the brightest thing that you had done but you couldn't bring yourself to regret your decision.Your heart jumped as you listened to Jeff hum along with the song, his voice deep and comforting. You shivered as you felt something cold and rough brush against your arm.

Glancing to the side you noticed that Jeff's hand had found its way to your arm. Biting your lip you looked away nervously. His finger tapping continued, your arm now his new makeshift drum. You considered your current position and glanced at his fingers. Should you...?

You sighed and moved your right hand from the steering wheel, disturbing Jeff's movements. His hand fell from your arm. He moved away, taking your movement as a sign of rejection.

The rhythm of the music only served to egg you on to act on your impulsive thoughts. As subtly as you could you slithered your hand down to Jeff's seat and nudged his hand with your own. His long fingers twitched before taking the hint and lacing with your own. You attempted to get a look at Jeff's face to discern his feelings on your current position. You were greeted with a mass of black hair and a red tinted ears. Giggling quietly, you pulled his hands closer to you so that both of your elbows sat on the center console.

His thumb brushed against the back of your hand gently. Now it was your turn to look away from him, face burning from the simple gesture. And so you rode on through the night to your destination, hands clasped together tightly with the blare of music in the background.

Eyeless Jack:

Fight or flight was the natural reaction of a human in fear, so you couldn't honestly be blamed for the situation you were currently in. Yeah, you were totally not at fault.

Just kidding you were totally at fault for your current position. After your oh so wise comment about your meeting, you had been faced with a decision; fight or flight. It wasn't that you actively wanted to pummel your soulmate into the ground. It was just that every single muscle in your body said do something about the scary British man in the blue mask in front of you.

So you did what you often did. You listened to your impulses and launched yourself at your soulmate with the fury of a thousand suns. You had landed a punch (a rather good one if you did say so yourself) and tackled him. However, despite your best efforts and moves you were soon the one on your own back, with your soulmate above you, his knee on your chest and his gloved hands around your wrists.
