Scroll 1; Making Friends

As I was sleep I felt someone shaking me "Wake up Keisuke" A soft voice said still shaking me so I opened my eyes slowly to see a smile from my mom "Come on now you need to get up" Mom said pulling the covers off of me so I sat up

"Okay mom I'm up" I said smiling "Okay get dressed breakfast is ready" Mom said leaving my room I then got up and got my clothes I always wear and headed towards my bathroom after I put on my clean clothes I brushed my teeth and fixed up my hair

After I went downstairs to the dining room and sat down "So keisuke how's the academy going?" Dad asked "It's going good I made a couple of new friends" I said proud of myself "that's great sweetie what are their names?" Mom asked

"Umm Kiba Inuzuka and Shikamaru Nara" I said smiling then we heard a knock on the door "I got it" I said getting up and walked towards the door then opened it to be greeted my Kiba "Oh hey Kiba what's up?" I asked

"Wanna hang out before the academy starts?" Kiba asked then Akamaru barked "can i" I asked my parents "Sure you can just don't be late" Dad said 'yeah coming from someone who's always late' I thought sweet dropping then put on my ninjas shoes

"Alright I'm leaving" I said walking out "have fun sweetie" Mom said as I left "so what are we going to do Kiba?" I asked looking at him as we walked "We're gonna do a challenge everyone's waiting" Kiba said

"What type of challenge?" I asked "A race between me and you to see who's the fastest" Kiba said "Really alright I'm really fast" I said getting excited "Oh yeah I'm faster be prepared to loose" Kiba said smirking

"Oh yeah I can beat you with a hand tied behind my back" I said smirking back "if you say so we here" Kiba said and I saw some of our classmates and other kids "A race between the new kid and Kiba this should be interesting" A kid said

"I wonder who's gonna win" A girl with red hair tied into twin drills said quietly blushing "hmm" I said looking over and see boy behind her watching 'they're weird' I thought "Alright you ready to loose Keisuke" Kiba said which made me look over

"Yeah right your going to eat my dust" I said "Alright let's go then" Kiba said as he started running "hey wait up cheater!" I showed catching up "I thought you said you were fast" Kiba said a head of me

"I am you just cheated" I said jumping from building to building "that's what's loosers always say" Kiba said picking up speed 'aww man I think I lost this race' I thought trying to pick up the pace

After awhile I finally made it to the finish line and layed down catching my breath "Took ya long enough" Kiba said walking in front of me "Whatever" I said catching my breath

"Looks like Kiba won" A kid said "of course he did" Another kid said and I started growling "I want a rematch!" I said standing up "A rematch?" Kiba said confused "yeah I want a rematch" I said "maybe later if have to go to the academy now" Kiba said walking away with the kids following

I just standed their looking at the trees "*sigh* aww man I can't believe he beat me I need to become faster" I said to myself since I was the only one their "I think.... your fast already" A quiet voice said which scared me making me jump a little

"Huh you do?" I said 'it's the two kids from before' I thought "y-yeah I bet if you try hard enough you can beat Kiba" She said "Yeah I'm going to be him one day Dattebayo!" I said smiling with a little blush

"Hey I'm Keisuke Hatake and one day I'm going to Hokage and surpass my dad!" I said pointing to myself smiling "You'll be a great hokage one day Keisuke" She said which made me smile more

"M-my name is Synthia, Synthia Hikari but some people call me Sylvia" Synthia said "Hmm and who's that?" I asked pointing to the kid behind her "Huh? Oh that's my brother Alex he's shy around new people" Synthia said

"Hey nice to meet you want to be friends?" I asked him holding my hand out but he only hid behind her more "huh?" I questioned "it's okay we can be friends" Synthia said "Well we should get going if I'm late my mom would kill me" I said and she giggled

"Okay come on then" Synthia said grabbing my hand running towards the academy 'hehehe looks like I made another friend' I thought smiling
