Hi y’all,
When I started reading fan fictions a couple of months ago – by chance – I didn’t know what it would develop into. I’ve had a couple ideas before: my imagination’s been running wild ever since I started watching Gilmore Girls. While reading all your lovely stories I’ve realized that Christopher Hayden is out of the picture a lot. I’ve always loved Christopher and imagined Lorelai to end up with him but that’s just not what ASP had in store for them and I need to accept that – the original story will always be hers. What I can and will do, however, is tell his story. I want to tell his story starting at the end of S7 and working up to the revival. Somehow, Chris ends up a villain in many stories and, while it works for them, I’ve always liked the character. I want to find some closure for him and for myself by telling his story. I want it to start after the graduation in season 7 and work my way up to the revival. I won’t go into a lot of AU apart from the scene between Chris and Rory in the Winter episode. Also, I won’t be including too many of the original characters as Chris’ life isn’t much connected to them accept for Rory and Lorelai. I’m not sure if I would continue my story after the revival – I guess it really depends on how my imagination flows, and on your feedback of course.
I was just pondering the idea and thought I might get myself some feedback on it from you. So, please let me know what you think in the comments and I’ll see what comes of it.
