Jasmine's pov
"Hey, are you almost done setting up?" My brother, Aaron asks "me and jay just need to set up a few more cameras" i say as i flip my purple hair out my eyes "are you sure you wanna go in alone? The entity here is known to attack women" he says with worry "ill be fine, and if anything does happen you and the guys are here to help me" i say as he helps me up "aw is the princess scared?" The cocky voice of Zak comes from behind us, i scoff as i turn to him "trust me, i ain't no princess, baggins" i spit with a glare "yeah?" He says smugly "yeah" i say firmly "Zak, its time to start" jay says "ok" he says as he faces everyone "billy and Aaron, you guys take downstairs while me and jasmine take the upstairs" he says as he winks at me and i roll my eyes. Everyone gets their gear and we get into our pairs "lets go ladies" i say with a smirk as i start walking up the stairs "you heard the woman, lets go" Billy says.
I make it upstairs and i immediately hear footsteps in the master bedroom "Zak, im taking the master bedroom you can take the other bedroom" i say "you sure? Thats where the entity that attacks women is" he says with a hint of worry in his voice "yes im sure, if anything happens ill yell for you ok?" I say as i head in. As soon as i head in, i see a book get thrown at the wall "what the f***!" I exclaim as it falls to the ground, i hear footsteps go into the bedroom that Zak's in and i hear zac yell "Zak?" I call. No answer. I walk slowly into the bedroom as worry consumes me "Zak?" I ask again. No answer once again. I turn on my torch and i see Zak standing in the middle of the room staring at the wall "Zak?" I say softly as i go to gently touch his arm, his head snaps to me and i jump back "Zak, whats wrong?" I say quietly "i can see why Zak likes you, you're a pretty girl" he says, but his voice is darker then normal "what? Zak you're scaring me" i say gently "oh honey, Zak isnt here anymore" he says as he smirks "what?" I whisper "no" i say as i finally realize whats happened: Zak's been possessed. "Please let him go" i beg "why would i do that?" He laughs, i pull out a bottle of holy water and he looks down at it "its either you let him go, or i throw this at you and get him back myself" i say firmly and he chuckles "you're smart" he says, i see an orb leave Zak and he falls to the foor, motionless; fear immediately fills me and i run to him "oh my god, Zak please wake up" i whisper as tears fill my eyes "GUYS HELP ME!" I scream as sobs erupt from my throat, i cradel Zak in my arms as i check if he's breathing "Zak please wake up" i sob "AARON!" I scream as sobs rip threw my throat, he runs in and sees us "what happened?" He asks as he runs to us "Zak got possessed and then he fell to the floor and now hes not waking up" i sob as jay and billy run into the room "take jazzy to nerve, me and billy will handle Zak" Aaron says, jay takes my arm gently but i rip it away from him; i cling to Zak as even more sobs erupt from my throat "pick her up and move her" Aaron says "no!" I cry as jay picks up from around the waste. He takes me back to nerve center and sits down next to me "he'll be fine jazzy" he says to me "he wasn't moving jay" i sob as i bring my knees up to my chest "he was cold to" i sob "its ok, just calm down ok? Getting yourself worked up isnt going to help the situation" he says softly "what if i lose him jay?" I whimper as hot tears roll down my cheeks "you won't. I promise" he says as he brings me into a hug
Time skip ~ 1 hour later
Zak's pov
I wake up to the sound of faint crying, i groan as i try to sit up "whoa man, take it easy" Aaron says "what happened dude?" I ask as i rub my temples "you got possessed" he says "wheres jasmine? Is she hurt?" I ask "no, but you gave her a massive scare. She's downstairs with jay crying her heart out" he says as he hands me a bottle of water "why?" I ask as i down a bottle of water "dude, you are so clueless sometimes" he chuckles "what?" I ask "she likes you man. She thought you died, you were stone cold and weren't moving a muscle. Scared the poor girl half to death" he says "i need to go see her, just to make sure she's alright" i say as i stand up "ok, just take it easy dude" he says and i nod. I head downstairs and i see jasmine crying into her knees "i cant lose him jay" she sobs "you really think you can get rid of me that easily?" I say and her head snaps up, her eyes are all puffy and red. She stand up and walks to me, she wraps her arms tightly around me and sobs into my chest; i wrap my arms gently around her waste "dont you ever scare me like that again" she sobs "im sorry jazzy" i say as i kiss the top of her head "you better be" she cries, i see jay leave the room out the corner of my eye and i pick her up; she wraps her legs around my waste and i sit down. After a couple of minutes she finally calms down "dont you ever do that to me again" she says softly as she lays her head against my chest "ill try not to" i say as i run my fingers through her purple hair, a minute or so of comfortable silence fills the air "i really thought I'd lost you Zak" she says, braking the silence "why did you worry so much? All we normally do is fight" i chuckle "you are so clueless" she giggles "Aaron said the same thing" i say with a laugh "but seriously, why did you worry so much?" I ask "because i love you" she says softly "you have no idea how long ive been waiting for you to say that" i say and she looks up at me with her sparkly green eyes
And i connect our lips in a soft kiss
