"Come on, Amethyst! Stop acting like innocent. Sa kuwentong ito, hindi ba't ikaw naman talaga an home wrecker in the first place? I am just getting back what's mine."

"So masaya ka na ba niyan? You already won so congrats."

"Well, thank you. Don't worry, I'll make sure na magiging masaya si Cloud sa pamilyang bubuuhin namin kasama ang magiging baby namin," she happily said.

"You know what... gustung-gusto kitang sampalin ngayon. Pasalamat ka lang dahil buntis ka. Gustung-gusto kitang saktan sa totoo lang. Kahit sa huling pagkakataon man lang sana."

"Oh, I'm so sorry for that. Bawal kasi akong ma-stress e, hayaan mo kapag nagkita tayo after ko maipanganak 'tong BABY NAMIN NI CLOUD, I'll give you time for that so you can rest in peace," nang-aasar pang sagot niya.

I just clenched my fist and gritted my teeth in anger because I can't do anything kahit gustung-gusto ko na siyang kalbuhin. In the end, pilit ko lang siyang nginitian bago ko siya iniwan.

Sinalubong ako ng tatlong itlog sa labas ng pent house and they all looked so worried but I told them that I'm okay. Although deep down inside of me is slowly dying. Trish wanted to go back to Manila with me but I told her to stay and enjoy her vacation as well as Carl and Cullen.

Nag-insist si Carl na ihatid ako pabalik ng Manila since gabi na rin at ayaw nila 'kong payagan na mag-bus na lang at mag-commute.

"Are you.. really going to give up?" Carl asked, taking a single glance on me because he's driving.

"Hmm. Because that's the only choice I have," I answered.

"Pero Amethyst, puwede namang panagutan ni Cloud 'yung bata ng hindi pinapakasalan si Aileen--"

"I don't think that's right. Ayokong ako ang maging dahilan para lumaki 'yung bata sa broken family."

"Pero paano ka?"

"Move on?"

"You think kaya niyong kalimutan ni Cloud ang isa't isa?"

"Actually, nakalimutan na niya 'ko," I joked just to lighten up the mood.

"Pero hindi ka nakalimutan ng puso niya."

"Makakalimutan niya rin ako," sagot ko na mabilis pinunasan ang mga luhang lumandas sa aking pisngi. Itinuon ko na lang ang aking atensiyon sa labas ng bintana.
