Chapter 6: Another Day

Midorima's POV

I can't believe it...

...I met Kuroko...my childhood friend...

Wow it's like we haven't seen in ages...

And yes..I feel very happy about it...

When I came back to my classroom Akashi approached me and asked: "Shintarou where were you?"

"At the Music Room Akashi." I answered.

"I see."

[After a couple of minutes..]

School has ended, now all of us need to go home.

"Ok everyone you may go now. We'll continue the next chapter on Thursday and see all tomorrow." Mayuzumi-sensei said.

"Hai sensei."

"Hhahhh~ finally over!" Hayama said.

"Yeah today was a drag.." Nebuya said.

"Well see ya tomorrow everyone! I had to go for a photo shoot now! Bye~" Kise said as he ran away.

"Tch idiot." Aomine said.

"Me too guys I need to help my mom so bye~! Bye Dai-chan~!" Momoi said as she ran away too.

"Ja ne Sacchin~" "See ya Satsuki!"

"I need to go too. Bye everyone." I said as I went to the door.

"See you tomorrow Shintarou."

"Bye~ Mido-chin~"

Now I'm going to my father's hospital to help on something.

[At Midorima's Keitarou Hospital]

"Hello otou-san"

"Ah! Shintarou! Just in time! So how's school?" my father asked.

"School is fine otou-san. Oh! And I meet my childhood friend. Do you still remember Kuroko Tetsuya?

"Kuroko-kun!?"

"Yeah"

"Oh! How is he?" my father asked.

Yes, my father has always had a soft spot for Kuroko when we were kids.

"He's fine otou-san."

"And how is his grandma?"

"....otou-san... he told me that...his grandmother past away...last spring..."
I said, feeling sad about him.

"...O-oh...so he's alone..?"

"Hai otou-san."

"Oh that poor boy...well let's talk about this later Shintarou we have some job to do right now."

"Hai otou-san."

Third person's POV

[At the Ogiwara Household]

*Ding dong*
the bell rings infront of the door

"Ah! Tetsuya-chan! Came here to see Shigehiro?"

"Hai Rumi-san."

"Well come inside."

"Thank you Rumi-san."

"Hi Tetsu-chan!!" Ran and Ren greeted Kuroko while both of them hugged his legs.

"Hi Ran and Ren."

"Now now kids let Tetsuya-chan go so he can see your oni-chan."

"Hai~oka-san~"

Then Kuroko went upstairs and stood infront of Shige's bedroom.

*Knock! knock!*

"Hai...?"

"Shige-kun. It's me."

"Tet...su...ya...?? Uuughhh...co...me...in..."

Kuroko opened the door.

"Are you alright?"

"N-no-o..."

"Oh here's some notes on Science, English and Literature for you."

"T-thanks...man..."

"Your welcome..."

"Ha-ha-ha-....hacchoo!!"

"Bless you."

[At the Midorima Household]

"Thanks for the help Shintarou. You'll be a great doctor."

"Arigatou otou-san."

"Oh! Shin-chan~ I heard that you met Kuroko-chan, so how is he and his grandmother?" Midorima's mother asked with enthusiasm.

"He's fine oka-san. But Tomoko-san... has past away...last spring..."

"O-oh...poor boy..."

"..."

"Ok then. Shin-chan tell Kuroko-chan that if he's lonely tell him that he should come to us for a visit or for dinner cause me and your father would be happy to see him again." Midorima Mitsuru said.

"I agree dear." his father agreed with his wife.

"Understood oka-san, otou-san."

"Oh Shin-chan. What class is he?"

"Crap! I forgot to ask him.."

[At the Kuroko Household]

After visiting Shigehiro, Kuroko went to his part-time job to work for two hours and a half then he went immediately home.

When he arrived at his home, he noticed that the lights on the living room were on.

'Did I forgot to turn on the lights?' he thought cause he'd never left the lights of his house open.

Then he went to the living room and see two female figures...

"Ah! Tetsuya-kun okaerinasai."
It was his caretaker Sasaki Miyoko.

"Okaeri! Tetsu-oniichan."
With her daughter. Playing with Nigou on the floor.

"Sasaki-san. Nami-chan. What are you both doing here?"

"Well unfortunately our house has been infested by some insects...so we've decided to stay here for a while." his caretaker smiled.

"Oh okay." Kuroko understood.
"Well I should go to study right now so if you need anything you come to my room."

"Wakatteru oni-chan!" Nami said.

"Tetsuya-kun, tonight I'll cook dinner for us so you can rest for while."

"Arigatou gozaimasu."

Then he went to his bedroom and start studying Geography and Social Studies.
