"Tessa! Where are you going?" Leia Organa asked. As Tessa Skywalker ran towards Bail Organa's ship.
"Why do you care? You're a big girl. You can take care of yourself," Tessa answered. "Besides. I have a mission."
"A mission? Why don't I know about this?" Bail asked confused.
"Ah... Nothing... I was just... ah..." Tessa said. In all reality, Tessa had been planning on stowing away on Bail's ship, and sneaking off to Yavin 4.
"Trying to get away from Leia?" Bail asked.
"You... could say that," Tessa said nervously. This wasn't the first time she'd been caught trying to "escape" Alderaan.
"Well. I. Don't. See how it could... hurt. This time," Bail said slowly. "Come along. We can't be late."
"Late for what?" Leia asked. "Does this have to do with the rebellion?"
"Yes!" Bail said, but at the same time Tessa said, "No!"
"Why do I get the feeling you're lying to me Tess?" Leia asked.
"'Cause I am Leia." Tessa said. "I'll never be un-used to keeping secrets."
"Skywalker!" Bail screamed. "If we don't leave now we're going to be late." Being a Senator, Bail took punctuality very seriously.
"Yes Senator," Tessa said quietly, and boarded the ship.
Bail turned to leave, but Leia grabbed his arm, "Father. Why can't I ever come?" She asked.
"Leia. I have a strong feeling that you'll be involved very shortly here. But for now, I need you here," Bail answered. "Play your role. Until the opportunity presents itself."
"Yes Father," Leia said, and reluctantly left the landing platform.
Bail boarded his ship, and found Tessa in the cockpit. "Oh I could so fly this thing," she said, without ever looking up from the controls.
"You're not flying. That'd be way too dangerous for my liking," Bail informed her.
"I don't always crash," Tessa protested.
"It's not the crashing I'm worried about," Bail said. "It's the stunts that lead to the crashes."
"I don't always do stunts either," Tessa said defensively.
It had been years since she'd flown anything but a speeder. A small speeder at that. Tessa needed to fly something. Something big! This ship was perfect! Except Bail was afraid she'd go nuts or something.

"I know. But I'm not taking my chances. I know you're not your brother. But you are related to him. I'm not taking my chances," Bail said.
"I crash less than Anakin. And he don't crash that much," Tessa complained. If her brother was going to be involved he was going to be on her side.
"Anakin is reckless! And so are you!" Bail said angrily.
"No he's not! And no I'm not!" Tessa shouted.
"He was killed in a crash when he was piloting! Your not going to fly my ship!" Bail shouted. Bail had a temper, just like every other human being in the galaxy. Tessa had a way of setting it off. Of course, this went both ways.
"No he didn't!" Tessa insisted angrily. "He isn't even dead!"
"No!" Bail said simply, but still angrily.
"C'mon... I've got to fly something!" Tessa said, calmer now.
"it's not happening! Do you understand me?" Bail asked, clearly still angry.
