Paige Argent is a strong willed, tough, and probably one of the best fighters in the New York Institute. Well next to Jace. She's the daughter of the Argent family. Christopher Argent's daughter, so of course she's going to know how to fight. Like her sister, she's pretty good at the bow, but her weapon of choice are daggers(like the ones that Allison uses in S2x12)
She's never really opened up to anyone in New York, so the only people that know a lot about her is her father, Scott, Stiles, and Lydia from California.
She's had everyone taken from her. First her mother. Then her aunt. Then her sister. The only person that knew about what was happening in Paige's life. And now she's gone. But with Paige being so close to her older sister Allison it means that she doesn't want to forget her. Ever. So Paige kept most of Allison's belongings. Her jackets, even the one she died in, her bow and crossbow which are the only ones that Paige will ever use, and the gloves Allison used for when using her bow. She's never let anyone touch these things. Ever.
Paige has been in the New York Institute for almost 5 years. A year prior to that, she was bitten by Scott McCall because her father wanted to make sure that she would always have a way to protect her self. Paige is a werecoyote, but still has angel blood in her. Not a downworlder, but half shadow hunter and half supernatural.
The only real friends she has is Jace Wayland, Isabelle Lightwood, and I guess you can say Alec too. They're not really friends per se, but rather acquaintances. They fight together on the field, train together, teach each other things that the other might want to know, but they never really just talk like Jace and Izzy do with Paige. What I'm trying to get at it is that when talking nice to each other, Paige and Alec don't do it unless it's about work. I mean with Alec always whining about how Paige shouldn't even be in the Institute because she's a downworlder, WHICH SHE'S NOT, and Paige always being uptight, they never really get along well.
But everyone has a soft side to themselves. Even the toughest people in the world. It's just hard to see Paige's, but even through the millions of walls she's put up around herself, it's in there.
