Chapter 1 - The Beginning

Moving is always a pain in the butt.

Having to pack up your belongings and then unpacking them is so tedious. Luckily, my amazing telepathy can fix that. All I have to do is focus on and object and move it. My ability to move objects has gotten easier as I have gotten older.

But still, moving is horrible. Imagine being forced to move from place to place, leaving all your friends in that city and having to make new friends again. Bleh. Its so hard and so much work.

That's basically my life. My dad says that this new place will the last place we move to, hopefully. The school I'm going to be attending is . . . Colewell High School. Sounds fun. Another place for me to be made fun of and feared, Yay!

"Mariko Choi! Come down here right now!" I winced at my mom's loud command and turned off my music. As I ran down to our new living area, I heard a huge bang and crash. My mother approached me and put a hand on my shoulder.

With a sigh she asked, "Mariko can you please help resolve your sister's fight."

"But it is their problem."

"Mariko." She gave me quite a scary face and reminded me why she was once one of the most terrifying villains. Even feared by other villains.

"I mean, I finished unpacking so sure." Walking towards the sound of arguing and crashing, I wiped away the sweat forming on my forehead.

Man can my mom be scary.

As I got closer the screams progressively began to get louder. When I got to the door, I paused and hoped that all will go well, and it probably won't.

Short chapter i know, sorry but this is mainly to get back in the writing spirit. Btw this story does include superpowers but they don't have much relevance in this chapter. But there will be more superpower stuff in the next chapter.
