A rainbow is never formed by chance
I pick up my phone. Me and Kousei recorded a song together we came up with using a medley site.
It was our ringtone for both our phones so we knew whoever was calling.
It was an insurance company so I hung up and went back to fixing brownies.
I am so awful at this.
Was it the milk before the powder or the powder before the milk?
I chose the latter.
I twisted my ring and hummed to myself.
I got chocolate on my apron and used a sponge.
It stained and I decided I wanted to surprise Kousei with a brownie batch for his birthday which was today.
(A/N yes I know I'm late on his birthday sorry.)
I closed the cabinet with my heel and hit my finger and screamed the s word.
I stood there for a second recovering from my injury.
I set the brownies in the oven.
I waited and once they were done I put them in a container with a bow.
I sat down Kousei would be off at 5 and it was 4:58.
"I'm home!" A familiar voice said and i ran into my fiance's arms without hesitation
"Hey you seem excited any reason to be?" Kousei said setting his suitcase down
"Its your birthday and I made you something." I said grabbing his hand and leading him into the kitchen
I grabbed the basket and showed him the brownies.
"Aw baby. That's so sweet of you." He said kissing my cheek and picking up one of the brownies and eating it
"I'm glad you like them." I said after he ate his fourth one
"Anyways so I was doing a bit of research and I think I know where you want to go for our honeymoon." He said taking out his laptop "How about Australia?"
"Baby! That's awesome!" I said hugging him
"We get a discount too. Also you need to start getting stuff ready for our wedding."
"I already have the flowers and the honeymoon and the cake which we agreed on and even the ring for you."
"Well great because I have a great excuse to get you something next week's easter right?"
"Yeah."
"So I can get you something that day."
"Also I want us to get married next month on April the 14th the day I met you." I said
"Great its all planned."
"Now all I need is the dress."
"Yep."
I kissed his cheek and sat with him we talked about a lot of things things I'd seen with him.
