Chapter 1: Friends

Start from the beginning

But I don't care.

I looked onto her eyes... her sparkling eyes... her alluring mouth, her mesmerizing face...

Who is she? What is this feeling she's giving to me?

I can't move a muscle so she stood up and offered her arm so I can stand up.

I grabbed it with my right so she can pull it and used my left to push myself from the ground.

I immediately apologized to her.

She answered, but the tone of her voice gave me a cold feeling.

"You should've been more careful." She said while looking on the ground, as if she's avoiding my gaze. "Once I got hurt again, I'll make sure it's your head that falls onto the ground first."

I kept my mouth shut since it's my fault anyways.

She left. "Idiot." She said without looking at me.

I was left there standing guiltily.

I turned my back but a fist suddenly appeared right before my face.

I was knocked unconscious, and woke up in a room.

To be specific, I woke up in the clinic room.

I can't remember paano ako nakarating dito; all I can remember is I accidentally bumped a girl while running. She helped me stand up, and that's it.

I saw the nurse, nakatalikod sa akin, organizing her apparatuses na nasa table on right side of the room.

"Ironic. Smartest person in the world ung first patient ko sa school year na toh'. What happened?" She asked while still fixing her stuff. You can tell from tone of her voice she's disappointed.

"Nothing much. I unexpectedly bumped onto the girl of my dreams and suddenly everything become black." I replied, chuckling after so.

Di naman big deal toh' para maging worried or something.

"I never thought you would be this childish. Running around and bumping into someone? I expected much from you." She said.

Is she really that disappointed?

"Then don't expect too much." Sinagot ko. Seriously, hindi naman toh' big deal. "Just because I'm smart, doesn't mean I'm perfect. I make mistakes as well, though."

"You're telling me na okay lang gumawa ng pagkakamali?"

"Yep! Unless aware ka. That's more like a sin than a mistake." I confidently answered with a smile. "But now that I'm aware of it, I'll try to not do it again!"

"Alright. Fine. Gets na kita. Anyway, two students named Sean and Christjude wanted to see you. Should I let them see you?"

Oh cool.

"Sure. Also, nurse, no need to be so formal." I winked as well.

She just left the room and let my friends in.

Christjude crossed his arms looking at me. He doesn't seem happy.

"Hi!" I waved at him.

Naka poker face lang si Sean. Pero si Christjude? Mukhang galit na galit.

I laughed at Christjude's face. Ang adorable kasi niya pag galit. I just wanna pinch his cheeks!

"Do you even know bakit ka nakahiga diyan in the first place?" Tanong niya. "Just in case you forgot, I punched you." Sabi niya.

"Ahaha~ What for?" Tanong ko sa kanya happily.

Yep. I'm mocking him.

Don't worry. Normal lang toh' sa friendship namin. Ganito nga rin ginagawa nila sa akin pag ako ung galit eh.

Let's just say we're not being fake to each other.

Napatingin na lang ako sa baba (with an "ohhh....." face) dahil sa sagot niya sa tanong ko.

"You bumped onto my girlfriend!"

We may have a habit of teasing each other, but we don't kid when it comes to our loved ones.

Nahiya ako sa actions ko kanina.

"Dude... I... I'm sorry for that." Sagot ko sa kanya. I apologized with sincerity while still looking down in guilt.

"Joke lang. Di ko kilala ung babae na yun. I only punched you dahil you took my snack." Ayy... "Forgot?" He asked me still in crossed arms.

"The punch you had given him must've gave him an amnesia." Sean said out of the blue.

I grabbed a pillow and threw it at him.

The projectile hit him right on the face!

"Hope that gives you an amnesia." I said.

All three of us laughed like it was just a normal day... like what normal friends would do with each other.

This is the normal life they gave me and it was better than a rich life.
