"Can you move your arm, please?" I nod and move my hand behind my head. "And sorta play with your hair?" I pick up a few strands of hair and move them to where they're almost covering my eyes. "That's perfect! I think we've got it!" James finally yells after three hours of trying to look perfect, and smile, when really I just want to go home and sleep. I get up and walk over to James. "How does it look?" "Absolutely perfect, but I think if you come back tomorrow we could get an even better one." I stare at him with my jaw wide open. "I'm kidding, its gorgeous. Chill out though, you're so tense all the time." I sigh in relief and nod. I start to walk away when I feel a hand on my shoulder. "Seriously, Holly. I've known you for a long time, and I know it'd do you some good to take a nap, or binge watch Pretty Little Liars like any normal 17 year old." I give him a weak smile. "Aye aye captain." I salute, and he chuckles and turns back to his camera. I grab my bag an go to wardrobe, so they can take back their uptight clothes and give me back my sweatpants, and band t-shirt. I really don't try on shoot days.
I finally get out of there, after a quick chat with James, and my manager about Friday's shoot. I'm almost to my car when my phone starts ringing. "HOLLY!" I jump in surprise and a couple walking to their car gives me a look, which I return with the most awkward of smiles. "Jesus, Mary! can you not yell for a minute, I have a killer headache." I get in my car and start it up. "Sorry, Holly. I just really need to tell you something!" "Okay?" "Okay, so Martin and I are going to The Roller Shack on Friday night, and he said he has a friend that just broke up with his girlfriend, I think her name was Jesse, but that name reminds me of Toy story 2, which is the best Toy Story in my opinion-" "Mary! Is there a point to this?" "Yes, sorry. So, Martin's friend, Levi, just broke up with his girlfriend, so he's single now, ad Martin and I thought you two would make a great couple, and we were wondering if you two would come with us Friday and make it a double date?" I haven't been on a date since Jacob, and he ended up to be a heater, so I've just avoided guys since. "Ummmmm, I don't know, Mary. I have a shoot on Friday morning, and I don't know how long it will last so-" "I'm sorry Holly, but I wasn't asking. I'm your best friend, and being so it is my job to make sure you get the attention you need!" "Okay, fine. I'll try to finish up early, but even if I go, he probably won't even like me." "I know he will, and he's a really great guy, just trust me. Oh! Martin's calling, I'll text you later, bye, love you!" "Bye." I start to drive home, only to a whole new mess of problems.
