Monse grabbed ruby's arm, dragging him away from the group as. We all start talking and Jamal started explaining his fake injury

Out of nowhere Cesar pulls up his shirt showing off his abs

How typical?

I roll my eyes and look in a different direction with my arms crossed. I'm starting to regret even hooking up with him

And Olivia is just staring at Cesar like she just found her new future husband. Right I wish I could kick Cesar through a window

I looked at Cesar to see him staring at me with a smirk planted across his face. I roll my eyes and shift from one foot to another

I zoned out and just stared at the tree above me, Until I heard

"Your Hilarious!." Olivia exclaims. She's just getting really touchy. Cesar was just going with the flow

You know what? Two can play at this game

I pulled out my phone. Opened my messages and Decided to text Finn

Leilani (Bold) Finn(Italics)

Hey, Finn r u busy tomorrow?

Nope, I'm free all week

Great do you wanna hang out and meet my friends? 😊

Sure, and I'll see you soon 🤗

Yeah I'll see you soon 😎

I sent Finn the last message. And waited to see you how Cesar is gonna reply. As Ruby and Monse walk towards us

Out of nowhere Ruby shouts

"I'm saving Cesar!."

I was walking with Olivia and Monse to school. I left early with Olivia because ruby was taking so long

We were talking about Olivia's life back in Houston. It sounded so cool down there

"That's insane. Houston sounds dope. Your totally one of those cool girls, aren't you?." Monse asked

"I'm basic." Olivia replied

"Said the coolest of the cool." I add on

Olivia chuckled. "Come on, your no dork." She says bumping shoulders with me

"Um, wrong. I just have no filter, because I have no gene for giving a damn." I said, flipping my hair from my eyes

"Neither do I."

Monse jumped in. "You guys want to hang after school. So I can show you the do's and don'ts of our hood."

"Imma have to pass. Me and Finn are gonna hang out and then I'm gonna introduce him to the crew."

"Oh, Who's Finn." Olivia questioned. I roll my eyes

"He's a friend of mine. I was thinking maybe he can join our crew, the more the merrier right?." I said and they nod

"Yeah, As long as he's nothing like Ruby. He can hang." Monse joked.

"Whatever."

We were walking and we made it towards Cesar's house. Cesar walks out and our eyes automatically meet. I can see in his eyes that he wants to move passed it but I can't. I roll my eyes and continue walking

"I'll catch up." Monse said. I nodded and me and Olivia continue walking to school

I would talk to him but I'm stubborn. If things don't go my way, I'll stay on that certain subject for awhile until my point is crossed

"Lani, Olivia wait up." Cesar yells. He's running towards us I roll my eyes. Once he was standing next to me I turn around and walk up to Monse

I'm not walking with or near him. Like I said I'm stubborn and I'm not letting this situation go until I feel like I should let it go

I was at my locker getting my stuff for spanish. I'm excellent in Spanish since its my biological language. As I was getting my book two hands cover my eyes

"Oh, I love this game." I said. I had a feeling it was Finn. His hands at surprisingly soft. "Are you Champagne papi." (For those who don't know who champagne papi is it's DRAKEEEE!!!!!!)  

"Nope. Here's a hint. I'm not famous in any way possible." By the voice I could tell it's Finn

"My therapist." Finn hands where removed from my eyes. My eyes where kind of sensitive to the light but soon felt normal

"You have a therapist?." He questioned

"After having a huge fear of big Bird, I can never unsee his big beak and his yellow colored feathers, the agony."

"Wow, you had to have a shitty childhood if you didn't like Sesame street."

"You know what's worse. That bitch Dora and her sidekick boots. They really piss me off."

This caused Finn to laugh. I grabbed my books and shut my locker. I had Spanish and Finn had gym. The classes were close to each other so we walked together

As we were walking we made it to the cafeteria. When you walk across the cafeteria your automatically at Spanish and gym was down the hall

I seen Cesar and Olivia talking and giggling. That made me a little jealous. I looked at Finn and had an idea

"Hey, Finn I'm really cold, do you mind putting your arm around my shoulder?." I asked giving him my best sad face

"Sure." He said. He wraps his around my shoulder and I wrapped my arm around his waist

As we continue to walk, we walked past Cesar and Olivia and I can feel Cesar staring at me and Finn. I feel accomplished

I make it to Spanish before the bell rung.  I turned to Finn and I let go of his waist and he lets go of my shoulder

"I'll see you at lunch, right?." I asked

"I'll be there. Wouldn't miss it for the world." He said. I could see Cesar walking this way

I guess he has Spanish. Just to make this game fun I gave Finn a kiss on the cheek and walked into class

I took my seat in the back of the room. True facted if you sit in the back of the class there is a less likely chance you'll ever get picked for a question you don't even know that answer to

Someone took a seat besides me. I looked to see who it was. I grunted at the sight of Cesar. What does he want from my life?

"Can we talk?." He asked

"I'm sorry, I can't I'm trying to learn."

"The teacher is not even hear yet."

"Okay so maybe I just don't want to talk to you." I gave him a fake smile

"Whatever I did, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you or your feeling in any type of way and if you could just push your stubbornness to the side for one minute and, accept this apology, I would be grateful."

I looked down at my spanish book and sigh

"I guess your gonna be disappointed." I said grabbing my stuff and move to an empty seat next to a random girl

Am I just over thinking this. Should I accepted his apology or should I hold this grudge for a little longer. I don't even care I was made this way so I'm gonna ride with that. Cause like I said.
