"Hey Mike, do you wanna go to the park later to skateboard?" My friend Jose asked writing in his history journal. I sat there for a minute thinking if I actually wanted to join him in his skateboarding. Jose was the average skater boy who wore sneakers, shorts that were usually a tan color, and wore a hat that said Get Lit on the front.
"Nah man" I continue, " remember that I have to go to Air control training every other day." Jose snickered and stared at me. His tan skin sometimes looked golden. It was kind of creepy. "Ugh, why can't I have that chance!" Jose exclaimed as he punched me in the arm lightly. "I wish I had the opportunity to join the Aquarius military slash special forces!"
I couldn't help but laugh. I haven't told him that I hated the fact that I was gonna be part of the ASP (Aquarius Special Forces). It's nothing really special, but having the ability to control air as I pleased seemed really cool at the time, but as I started my training with Commander Moxy, I slowly progressed to hating the damn thing because it drains so much energy out of me.
"Jose, you know that its nothing to be exactly happy about right?" Jose looked at me with some confusion, but we were soon interrupted by our history teacher Mr. Murrono. "Mr. Micheal Newton," he said, "is there something you'd like to share with the class?" he asked adjusting his glasses. His tall, slender figure stood over mine and I could sense the power that he was suppressing. Almost as strong as my dads. Sweat found its way down my back, my voice was caught in my throat. "N-no sir," I stuttered.
Mr. Murrono narrowed his eyes and started shaking his head. "Well, I guess you and Mr. Davez should stop the snickering and actually start paying attention to my class." He stated as he walked toward the smart board and begun telling us about the assignment that was going to be due on Monday.

As lunch came, Jose and I sat on the grass, enjoying the cloudy weather. The slight shift of the wind was soothing and warm. I couldn't help but smile. This was my favorite kind of weather and it will always remind me that there are days like this to look forward to. We live in peace. We live in a world in which I happen to love.
I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket, I took the phone out and looked to see that there was a message from my dad----
Son, we have your very first ASP Assignment and you are due to report to City Hall immediately. We have already contacted the school and we have already ordered a ride to pick you up in 5 minutes. Be ready, this is the time to show what you have learned and it's time to put your training to the test.
I stood there blankly looking at the screen. My day of relaxing and living a normal teen life has come to an end. I glanced over at Jose and he glanced back with a confused expression. I shook my head and grabbed my bag as I started walking to the gate. Jose tried calling for me but I knew that I had to ignore him, he couldn't get involved in this kind of stuff. Especially since he is a normal.
I reach the front gates of my school and waited for my ride to show up. As I was waiting, I kept thinking about what kind of mission I would have. What would I need to bring? What exactly am I facing? I couldn't get these thoughts out of my head, no matter how hard I try to get rid of them. A voice awoke me from my gaze.
