It was a rainy spring day at Parsons Design School, outside there was a seemingly endless amount of water falling from the sky, causing the drains to fill up with water and overflow onto the sidewalks. Now and then there would be lighting and loud, booming thunder. All the trees on campus swayed violently as the wind grew angrier. All over the news were reports of the ocean acting strangely, having abnormally large waves, but Adonis didn't pay any attention to the news forecasting.

He rushed down the sidewalk, trying to get to his dorm building as fast as he could. He tried not to step in any of the growing puddles, but there was no use. They were everywhere. A couple more hours of this rain and there wouldn't be any sidewalk to walk on, and they'd have to pull out the jet skis to get from class to class; since there were dorms on campus, classes were never canceled due of the weather, even in extreme conditions like this.

Adonis made it to his building and rushed in, practically knocking over a small girl preparing to go out into the storm. He just gave her a little sorry smiling, and rushed to the elevator, desperate to get out of his wet clothes. As he waited, he noticed that there was a couple to his right who were fighting. He sighed as the doors opened and walked in. Immediately as he stepped in, he held his breath because it smelt like wet dog mixed with marijuana, which isn't a pleasant smell in the first place and it was surprising that he didn't vomit simultaneously as soon as he walked in.

Immediately after the elevator doors opened, he was out and halfway down the hall. He opened the door to his dorm, and on the bed farthest from the door laid Eric, a beautiful, small twenty-one-year-old with red hair. He had the same major as Adonis; Fashion Design. Adonis and Eric were happy they ended up having the same major, they could share notes!

Adonis threw his belongings onto the floor and started to tear off his wet clothes. Eric looked up from his book, "A little wet out there huh?"

Adonis sighed dramatically as he pulled his Scooby-Doo pajama pants on and tossed himself onto his bed, wrapping himself in the comforter. "Wet is an understatement. It's like the world is going to end."

"Or the gods are mad," Eric said, side-eyeing Adonis. Eric was also a believer in Greek Mythology, just like Adonis' mother, Penelope. It annoyed Adonis because he didn't believe in all that. In fact, he didn't believe in anything. He sighed and closed his eyes.

"Stop that. There are no such things as gods and goddess or beings in the sky. No such thing. It's made up, make-believe. Child stories," Adonis said, sitting up in bed. "If they were gods, why would they take out their anger on us humans? Why make us suffer for them having a bad day?"

"Well, many reasons. There is-"

"Stop, I don't care. It was a rhetorical question," Adonis said. He stood up and put pulled a dry shirt over his head. "I'm going to the kitchen. Do you want anything?"

"Nope," Eric said, leaning back further into his pillows. Adonis was about to walk out of the room when he said, "tell her I said hi."

"What?" Adonis asked, walking entirely back into the room.

"Oh nothing, just talking to myself," Eric said, reaching for his phone. Adonis walked out of the dorm room and walked down the hall towards the kitchen. There wasn't anyone else in the hallway beside a girl in a pink hoodie with her back to him. As he got closer to the figure, his nerves were getting the best of him, and he got prepared to run if he needed to.

As he walked past, she seemed to have somehow gotten in his way, and they collided with each other. "Oh my god I'm so sorry! Are you ok? I guess I thought I had more room than I did." Adonis said, watching as the stranger turned around and it felt like his breath was pulled out of his lungs and left for dead because this girl was beautiful. No, not beautiful, gorgeous. "Oh, uh, hi."

"Hello," she said, smiling. Her voice seemed to be the sweet sound of birds singing as the sun rose up from the east on a beautiful spring day. Her beauty was enough to make Adonis want to forget all he knew and fall in love with her. As Adonis looked at this girl, he sort of recognized something in her...

"Do I... Do I know you?" Adonis asked, more to himself than to her. She shook her head, her long blonde curls bouncing around as her head moved. "You look so familiar though..."

"Well, there is a reason for that. No, you don't know me, but I know you. The reason why you recognize is that-" the girl was saying, but Adonis gasped as he realized. This girl looked like him. No, not like the whole "Selena Gomez looks like Lucy Hale" look alike, but actually looks like him. As in his face was in her face. "Hello, Aphroditus. I'm your twin sister, Aphrodite."
