Chapter 8: Tables had Turned

When i enter through the doors of the school it got really quiet, you could literally hear a pin drop. And all the eyes were on me, some were shock looking others were surprise or maybe both.

The girls gave me envious glares and the guys gave me lustful gazes as their eyes travel over my body. I winked at some or even gave them a wave of the hand.

Wow, the same crap. Really? I thought to myself, with a frown on my glossed lips.

I let my smile play on my lips as i make my way over to my spot as where i am always at before class starts.

I'll give about five minutes before someone comes up to me, I thought to myself happily at that one thought.

When i saw Alex, for once my smile doesn't grow it did the exact oposite, it fell off of my face.

As soon as Alex saw me his mouth fell open in shock and surprise when he look at what i looked like.

All i did was stare at him. I felt my heart getting distant from him.

 

Alex POV.

I am so tired, for some reason i felt something was wrong but what though.

I can't believe it. For once someone is the big news and it's not me for once, I wonder who it is.

I know for sure it's some new girl. I need to see this for myself.

As i wait for my friends I look at where Gabriella was yesterday and found her but this time i got a surprise.

Oh my god, thought to myself.

So she's the girl everyone is talking about no wonder people thought she was new since she's wearing sun glasses, I thought to myself as i let my eyes travel over her body.

But one question i thought of. Why did she change the way she looked? She did look beautiful yesterday and all those other times i saw her, not that she didn't look bad today.

As if she felt someonestaring at her she glanced up and met my eyes.

I gasped when i saw her face she wasn't wearing glasses anymore but she was wearing contacts. Again the same question comes to mind why did she change.

That wasn't the only thing i was surprised of, it was the look in her beautiful eyes. I could almost see a broken heart through those eyes.

For once there wasn't a shine in those beautiful hazel depths of hers.

Now i know what's wrong, but why though? I thought to myself.

All I have to do is figure out how to fix it. But I have a feeling it might be my fault.

 

Gabriella POV.

Just as I thought, someone did come up to me since in my line of vision I can tell the shoes belonged to a guy.

I put a smile on my face but when i saw who it was. It quickly fanished from my lips and turned into a frown.

Alex stood in front of me. Looking determined as I ever seen him before.

¨What do you want?¨ I asked him. Wanting to be away from him as far as i could get.

He looked confused by the tone i used and something else i don't really understand but it changed back to looking determined.

¨Well, why did you change?¨ He said while pointing at my outfit, then he said ¨This isn't you.¨ I laughed at that one.

The only thing I said was ¨This is me, oh and think about yesterday. Then you will find your answer.¨  

I turned and walked away leaving a confused looking Alex thinking about what I had said.

THIS IS YOUR FAULT ALEX.

I thought as i walked to my first class for the day.
