Fanfic Part 2- The Dance
Jade’s P.O.V
We pulled up outside the venue. There were about 10 other cars all lined up outside dropping people off. Everyone single person looked like perfection on legs. I could tell Lilly was feeling insecure, but I had no idea why, she was by far the prettiest girl I knew. We got out the taxi, walked up to the entrance, to face a tall dark haired security guard. “Hey girls, got your tickets?” We handed them over, and proudly walked in.
The song playing was un-familiar to Lilly, but I knew straight away it was One Thing by One Direction. Lilly rolled her eyes at me dancing away. The lights were low, and not yet had I or Lilly recognised anyone we knew. It didn’t matter though as we had each other for company. Of course in the back of our minds it would be great if we met a boy we liked there.
After my dancing session we decided to go over to the bar and order our drinks. The bar men were such flirts, and I could tell they were eyeing Lilly up. She didn’t realise, or care. “Two pepsi’s” she said calmly. The bar man tried chatting Lilly up, but she was having none of it. She took the drinks and started to look for seats. This took us a while as there were so many people.
All of a sudden, what seemed like everyone, rushed to one side of the venue. I and Lilly, without thinking to follow, fought against the crowds to find a seat, which now had now become an easy challenge. After a few minutes a stunning blonde girl approached us asking why we hadn’t followed the crowds. “Urgh, fights don’t amuse us.” She laughed at us and then realised we were being serious. Her face dropped. “This wasn’t a fight! Harry Styles has just walked into the building!”
