"Cameron." My mom gasped.

"Mom." I repeated. Next thing i knew i was being pulled into a hug and i could feel some of her tears on my shoulder. The hug only lasted a few seconds until she pulled away, and wiped the tears away trying to pull herself together.

"What are you doing here?" She said after a long pause.

"Trying to fix things." I mumbled.

"Come in son." She said. "son" something i haven't been called for a couple of years.

"Take a seat don't just stand there." She said giving me a small smile, that pulled me away from my thoughts. I agreed to her offer and sat down across from her.

"Do you have any questions for me before we start talking?" I asked. She nodded her head before saying.

"Did you stop?" She paused, i was about to question her on what she was talking about, but a few seconds later she got back to what she was saying. "Did you stop with all the tattoo's? you kno-"

"Yeah i stopped, it was my way of dealing with everything you know." I said cutting her off and she nodded.

"What made you stop?" My mom said a bit curious.

"Someone," I looked at her and she raised an eyebrow obviously not completely aware of who that someone is."Shes a girl. She's beautiful. Everything i look for in a girl. She has the cutest smile and she's so humble. Except i think we got off from the wrong foot and she hates me." I said scratching the back of my neck.

"Whats her name?"

"Alexis, but she goes by "Secret""

After i said that there was a bit of a silence for who knows how long. I was thinking over and over again of how i would've been if i had just stayed here.

"So what were you going to talk to me about?" She said snapping me out of my thoughts.

Moment of truth. I thought to myself.

"i'm sorry i really, really am mom. Im so sorry for leaving you and Sierra when i knew i was supposed to be the one there caring for you guys. I know i messed up pretty bad the past year but i promise you i'm trying my best to fix myself. I'm going to start off by moving back to Los Angeles, & restarting everything..."

After what felt was hours of talking i knew i had finally done the right thing. There was an immense weight lifted off my shoulders after we talked. To my surprise my mom took everything well. She didn't really say much but all she said was that she always supported me through everything i went through.

"You should stay here for dinner, Sierra will be here any minute." She said smiling.

"No no." I said and her smile faltered, slowly fading away.

"I don't think she would like that to be honest, mom" I finally said adding.

"She wi-" Mom couldn't even finished her sentence because she was cut off my someone running in from the front door.

"Cameron? what the fuck." The girl said. I had a small feeling of who it was, but instead of greeting that person I slowly turned my face around to see a very surprised girl. My sister.

Sierra.
