This takes place 5 years after Ender's Game. A year after Ender had left once the buggers were destroyed the government sent out 10 advanced new ships to search for him. Each of these ships had 10 people on them. All who are highly trained and different ages. Enough food was on the ships to last 5 years and they had all the equipment they would need if something was to break down. (Just in case this will take place as Ender now being 17.)
The female character is Nashoba Bey. She is on team 7 and this is how she came a crossed Ender.
