Jake left without hesitation, and I watched from the partly opened door. He made it to his car. And now the cops were suspicious.
I pulled out my phone and texted Jake. "I have a plan if I get caught. If I don't come out in thirty seconds, you can go, I'll call you when I need you." Then I pressed send. And then I was
against a wall with my hands behind my back. Dammit , this cop was hot as hell.
Next thing I know I'm sitting in a dark room in the police station. "This plan better work." I thought to myself. Then hot cop walked in all "I'm a boss ass bitch." So I thought over my plan once more as he made his way to a chair across from mine.
"Look, jail won't even be in the question, but we need answers." "Looks like you do." I replied matter-of-factly. "I think you have those answers." He stated, taking a sip of his coffee. "Okay, so I ran away from a hospital. I'm alive. And I wasn't aware this was a crime." I said, slouching back into my chair. "And you're friend?" Hot cop asked. "He was in shock, seeing me try to kill myself. Not being able to prevent it. When he saw I was alive, he was fine. So he escaped."
"Okay." Hot cop said slowly. "Now this is were I give you some answers." He said curiously, as if he was waiting to see my reaction. "Well?" I urged, after serval moments of silence.
"I'm the alpha male. And you're my mate." He said in a deep voice.
No point in that plan anymore. I was guessing I was off the hook. I mean come one, give the Luna some credit!
He just smirked at me, his eyes reading "You mad, bro?"
Or I was just still bad at reading peoples faces. I like the first option better.
