Bucky Barnes

This is a little blurb, so please let me know what you guys think!!!

"This wasn't supposed to happen." You sobbed, you tugged at the ends of your hair in order to calm the shaking and to bring a sense of control. "This wasn't supposed to happen."

You faked a smile when she told you. Her eyes were happy and her smile was huge. You threw your arms around her and pretended to be excited.

"Oh my god, Jessica!" You squeezed her shoulders and she jumped up and down in your arms.

"I know, I know!" Jessica pulled back slightly and grinned at you.

"I always shipped you two!" You lied.

She gripped your forearms so tightly that you were certain you would have her fingertips engraved there. "I think he could be the one!"

"So soon?" You questioned but quickly covered your question with another scream of joy. Even though it was fake. "That's amazing, Jess! You have to promise me that I'll be in the wedding in years to come."

"Oh I promise!"

"This wasn't supposed to happen." You shook your head, wrapping your arms around yourself for a sense of warmth. "This wasn't supposed to happen."

"Do you love him?" You turned on your side, the darkness covered your face.

"Yes!" She squealed. "I love him so much, Y/n you have no idea. The way his arms fit perfectly around me and the way he kisses me and whispers these sweet little things in my ear! He knows when I'm nervous and he'll squeeze my arm or draw little circles on my thighs." She sighed and turned to face you, even in the dark you could see her heart eyes.

You forced a happy voice, even though pain ached through your chest. "That's amazing, Jess. I am so happy for you."

You just wished it was you who ended up with Bucky. Not Jessica.

She had only known him for two months and they were already dating, you had known him for two years and have dreamed to date him since the very first day.

"This wasn't supposed to happen." You repeated, shaking your head furiously. "No, no, no."

You stared at the girl's limp body in the bed, tubes were connected to her body and the heavy beeping machines next to her were the only thing keeping her alive. Her gentle eyes were closed and her right eye was purple and black.

Near the same eye was a gash that had been stitched up but the purple and red around it had yet to fade. Her busted lip was still bleeding and her lips were swollen.

"This wasn't supposed to be happen." You took a small step away from the corner of the hospital room and towards the girl in the bed.

"Sam!" You ran down the hallway with Sam close on your heel. Your laughter filled the halls and could be heard all the way up to where Clint was in the vents. "Stop! I didn't do it, I swear!"

"Yes you did!" You whipped around the corner to the living room and as you were about to keep running for the kitchen, where you knew you could distract him with food, two arms grabbed hold of your waist and pulled you to a halt.

You went slamming against Sam's chest, his arms tightening around your waist so you couldn't escape even though you were wiggling around. Another laugh escaped your soft lips and you squirmed more in his arms, although you knew it was no use. He wasn't letting go until you admitted in eating the rest of his cookies.
