Beep! Beep! Beep! My annoying alarm clock rang repetitively. My hand glided towards the annoying noise that kept me from my peaceful sleep. Instinctively, I swung my hand, hitting the source of this noise, and I noticed I hit some other things as well. Satisfied, I was laying there peacefully for a few seconds, until reality hit me. Today was the first day of school at my new university. I lazily opened my eyes as the sunlight hit my eyes. I yawned while stretching my arms out, then I looked at my broken alarm clock. Well, almost broken.

B-b..eeeeeeee...p.. The alarm clock rang quietly in defeat. It had stopped ringing and turned off, broken. I looked over to my clock hanging on the wall. 7:48. My eyes widened. Shoot. I was going to be late for school. And on the first day as well? No way. Quickly, I stepped out of my bed clumsily then tripped on top of something. I swiftly got up, and looked at what I had tripped on, and it was a pile of books that lay there, open. Shoot, this is what I hit.. I groaned, then started picking up these books, and placing them aside, creating a small pathway through all of them. I need to pack these soon.. I ran through the little pathway that I had made, then quickly chose out my uniform from my closet. I had just realized that books were everywhere. This is going to be a pain in the as-... I mean, butt to stuff in my bag. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I slowly put my feet where there were small openings that showed the carpet on the floor as if I was in an action movie, avoiding stepping on the new books I had purchased for school. I glanced at the clock, which showed 7:51. Shoot, I gotta move. I moved quicker towards the bathroom, and took the last leap towards the bathroom. Once I got there I took my medication, and sighed. Yes, I needed medications for depression, as my mom passed away as I was 6, for an unknown reason. My dad was an alcoholic after she had kicked the bucket, and he always used to hit be and beat me, saying it was my fault that she died. I could see the pain, sorrow, and sadness in his eyes, but I had no idea why. He had given me head injuries, bruises, and scars. He even tried to rape me once, because I looked like her. I didn't allow it though. I wasn't going to lose my virginity to my dad. But that was all in the past now. I looked up at my mirror and sighed.

"You can do this Mi.." I muttered to myself. Yes, I call myself Mi, because I don't have any other friends to give me nicknames. My full name is actually Kang Mi-hi. Yup, 20 year old, boring, plain, broken. I undressed, then put on my uniform, brushed my teeth, combed my hair, and then left my long, brown hair down. I left my precious faceu with no makeup, because my mom always said I looked the best without it.

I ran out the bathroom and into my kitchen. I had a fairly small apartment, so it was easier to take care of everything. Fairly small, but cozy. I quickly put a piece of bread in my small toaster on the counter, and ran back into my room to get all of these books that I knocked over when I woke up. I quickly but carefully picked up the books, one by one, and soon enough had a huge stack of books piled in my arm. With caution, I placed them in my backpack, and then I ran into my bathroom to get my medications. I grabbed a few of these bottles, then glanced at the clock again. 7:57. Shit.. I started to pick up the pace even more as if what I wasn't doing wasn't enough.

I only had grabbed a few of my medications, then stuffed all of the ones I had grabbed in my bag. I heard a faint, click! Shoot, my toast! I grabbed my backpack, then ran downstairs, and put the toast in my mouth. After that, I ran out of my apartment and locked the door behind me. I sprinted towards my school, because it was only a 10 minute walk, but with the time I had, I sprinted like there was no tomorrow.
