Eve's POV

Great.

Now I was walking in a middle of nowhere. My phone's battery dead as f*ck, and I cannot frickin' call someone.

While I was walking rummaging through my purse, hoping to see something that could help me, maybe a map or a flashlight that would miraculously fit inside my small purse. "Arghh, anythingggg?!" I did not expect a huge rock would be on the way.

And yes, I tripped.

F*ck life, I am wearing heels and now the other pair broke. I frustratedly removed the both of it. Magpa-paa nalang ako. Pero tumalsik yung purse ko somewhere and I couldn't find it because it's hella dark. I kneeled in the rough cemented road and tried to look for the purse with my hands without seeing anything.

After a few minutes, I just sighed and surrendered. Medyo steep yung daan and the grass on the side of the road were taller than me, kung napunta man 'don 'yung purse ko mahirap siya mahanap and it will be too dangerous if I stayed here longer, Thoughts about snakes or something makes me agitated. I'll look for it first thing in the morning.

My phone is still in the pocket of my dress anyway but my cards are on the purse, nice. I hope no one finds it at mukhang hindi naman ito madalas daanan. I carefully continued walking, kahit madilim I made sure I am stepping on a clear spot, free from debris. The situation I am in is dumb enough and I don't want to make it worse.

This place is a mess.

While getting near, I suddenly saw that there's  a commotion and a group of guys around.

Siguro mga 6, I even had the time to count wow, Eve.

Nagulat ako nung makitang may binubugbog silang lalaki, I am not a saint but it looks like he'll pass out sa dami ng bleeding, cuts and pasa. What have I gotten myself into this time? He has a blackeye and there were blood everywhere, his hands were tied. Mukhang 'yung mga lalaki, kanina pa siya hinahampas ng baseball bat.

Curiousity entered my mind but I know I had to do something.

I saw the big guy had a gun and he pointed it to the poor guy's head. Sh*t.

"Hindi ka ba talaga aamin?" Sabi niya na mukang galit na galit at ipinalo ng malakas ang baril sa ulo ng lalaki. Sa gulat ko ay muntik akong sumigaw, I covered my mouth. Napahawak siya sa sahig to stop himself from falling. Pero hindi siya natinag, he spitted blood into the guy. Hindi nagalit ang lalaki, he laughed instead.

I was terrified, part of me wants to stop his suffering and save him from there. I thought about calling the police but I remembered my phone is drained.

"Tangin* ka talaga ha!" He was about to shoot the gun right into the his head.

Think, quick.

May nakita akong bato sa may paanan and binato ko sa 'yon sa yero na nakita ko not far from here. It was loud, enough to get the guys attention.

"Hoy, tignan mo kung ano 'yon." Narinig kong utos nung lalaki sa kasama niya.

I gulped. What if he sees me? Bakit ayaw pa nilang umalis? Hindi ba sila natatakot na baka may nakakita na sakanila at tumawag na ng pulis?

Sumunod yung lalaki at sumilip siya 'don.

"Negative boss." Sabi nito

Tumingin 'yung boss sa lalaking binubugbog nila at nagsalita "Hayop ka! May dala ka pa yatang kasama!" He pushed the gun even more into the guy's head.

I just made it worse.

"Tangin* mo! Ba't ayaw mo pa 'kong patayin?!" Sigaw ng lalaki.

Bakit ba hindi na lang siya magmakaawa para sa buhay niya at sabihin kung ano ba 'yung hinihingi ng mga 'to.

"Mas maganda kung sabay ko kayong papahirapan ng kasama mo, hindi ka na ba makapaghintay?" He was like a psycho, he laughed and then become angry. He shouted "Hanapin n'yo! Hindi pa 'yon nakakalayo!"

Right after he shouted, I tried to run. I will call for help.

"Boss, 'ayun oh tumakbo!" Sabi nung isa at itinuro ako.

"Habulin n'yo mga p*tangina!" Sigaw nung boss nila.

I run as fast as I could and since I don't know this place well, before I could even hide, nahuli nila ako.

"Bitawan n'yo ako!" I tried so hard to get their filthy hands off me. "Please naligaw lang ako, I don't know him." I begged.

Dinala nila ako pabalik 'don sa boss nila. "Babae, boss." Sabi nung isa.

I was so scared I looked at the poor guy as he was looking at me as well, maybe he is wondering why I am here when I don't even know him.

Nanaig sa akin ang paborito kong quote sa buhay na BAHALA NA. Tutulungan ko nalang siya, syempre pati sarili ko.

I snapped my fingers, giving the world a signal to stop.

And it did.

Every second counts because everytime I use this power, things that are bound to happen changes. My life will be in danger.

Nakita kong nag-freeze na 'yung mga tao, I looked at the guy na ngayon ay nasa cement na and just by looking at his state, screams pain and a hinge of kagwapuhan. He was badly hurt and mas napagmasdan ko rin ang itsura ng nambubugbog sakanya, ang nakita ko ay lahat sila may serpent tattoo on their right shoulder, are they in a fraternity or something? And is this a kind of hazing? Shocks! At may mga packs of sachet na may color white something akong nakita near them..

The thought panicked me more.

I looked for a cellphone and left the police a message to go here as soon as possible. I checked theses guys wallets and send their name, I found the address of this
