"Hey gorgeous, good morning. By the time you read this, I most likely won't be here :( As usual, I'm at the studio with the boys but I promise, I will do my best to be home early tonight. Love you - D. CV"

I frowned, carelessly tossing the note back onto the counter where I found it. I tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear.

Lately Daniel has been extremely busy with work. Like I understand it's his job, but I've rarely gotten to spend any time with him. Every time Daniel came home, it was at least 11 pm or sometimes later. And every morning he would leave at around 8:30 for the studio which made me miss him by an hour. It was sad honestly.

I'm really happy Daniel is living his dream, I really am. But sometimes I wish they would just give him a break. He was at the studio all day and when they finally finished for the day, the boys usually went out to eat or something.

And a whole day without Daniel? It's actually more of the whole damn week without Daniel. Sometimes it feels like I don't even have a boyfriend cause I never see him anymore.

Letting out a long and deep sigh, I opened up the fridge and threw my head back with a groan. Empty. Literally empty. The only thing we had was just a drinks and leftovers from a few days ago.

I pulled out my phone from my pocket and dialed a friend's number. I put it up to my ear and waited for him to pick up.

"Hey, Y/n, what's up?"

"Hey, Dyl. It's one of those days again. Wanna hang out?"

"Of course I want to. Your place or mine?"

"Actually, let's meet at the mall. I wanna do something fun today."

"Oh, are you saying me fawning over cute guys isn't fun?"

Here's the thing, Dylan is my best friend. He's knows me inside out, he's always there for me, and he's really attractive. But he's gay, which I don't mind.

"I never said that! I was just-"

"I'm kidding haha I'll head over to the mall in five minutes and meet you at the food court."

"Sounds good buckaroo!"

And with that, we both hung up and I ran to my room to get changed. I quickly pulled out a pair of leggings, a crop top, and my jean jacket. After changing, I jogged down the stairs and slipped my shoes on. I grabbed the keys off the hook and walked out of my apartment, making sure to lock the door.

"Hey there cutay!" Dylan's voice rang in my ears and he hugged me from behind. I laughed, turning around and hugged him tightly. "Gosh, I've missed you."

Dylan shot me a look as he pulled away, "You only saw me two days ago, but it makes sense that you missed me."

I rolled my eyes, smacking his arm lightly, "And why would that be?" "Because I'm so fabulous." Dylan flipped his non existent long hair and I laughed.

"Sure, whatever you say. Hey, you wanna go be basic and get Starbucks?" I suggested, giving him hopeful eyes. Rolling his own, Dylan nodded and I squealed, "Yay!"

I quickly grasped his hand and pulled him to across the mall where Starbucks was. Dylan grabbed us a table as I stood in line. I pulled my phone out as I waited for the person in front of me to finish ordering.

I felt a tap on my shoulder and spun around to see him, "Hey." Michael sent me a soft smile and I blinked twice before smiling back, "Hey, Michael."
