I grabbed my sword from my hip, pointing its paperyness at the boy in front of me. He too grabbed his paper sword, tilting his head slightly downwards. (weirdo.)

"ARE YOU GOING TO BE MY APPRENTICE?" I yelled at the poor boy, who looked a little shocked.

"Uh, yes?" he said it like a question, and my gaze hardened.

"You don't seem so sure. You'll never be a pirate!" I hit him in the head with my paper sword. (It was actually really quite stable. And they hurt!)

He groaned and practically fell off the table we were standing on, and the teacher was still looking hopelessly up at me.

"Steph, please get off the table! I don't understand why you do this every lesson!"

"YOU WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND! NOBODY DOES!" I started to fake sob, falling to my knees on the table still.

My minions began patting my back and head, muttering words of encouragement.

"DON'T TOUCH ME!" I yelled at the 10 or 15 people around me, swiftly kicking Jessica Williams in the face. Everyone immediately backed off, used to my violent ways. Jessica was on the gound, but after a few seconds of people asking if she was ok or wanted help up, she jumped up onto the table next to me.

"NOW YOU'RE GONNA FIGHT ME! GOOD! YOU'D BETTER BE WORTH IT!"

Despite the fact that her nose was bleeding profusely, as was her top lip, she drew her sword. She glared at me hatefully.

"Believe me, Stephanie Stevenson. Once I'm done with you, you're gonna wish that you weren't Pirate Captain." The venom in her voice sliced through the tension in the air, and even the teacher had shut up to watch the scene.

"Oh really, Jessica Williams? Well, bring it, shorty."

She raised an eyebrow at the last part.

"Are you forgetting that I'm half a foot taller than you?" My face glowed red at that point of time, half from anger and half from embarrassment. Yes, I'm short. There's no problem with that.

"SHUT UP AND FIGHT ME!" I screamed. She flinched at my sudden loudness, but took her battle stance nonetheless. (hehe, fancy words...)

I stood, holding the paper handle of my sword in both hands. My knees bent slightly, and I was leaning forward slightly. I looked her in the eyes, as she did with me. I adjusted my paper pirate hat, making sure the bobby pins were holding it in place right. She watched this action carefully.

"FIGHT!" my twin, Michael, shouted, and I immediately dropped, kicking out my leg to trip her. It was a successful blow, and she was laying on the tables, helpless.

"YOU WILL NEVER BE A PIRATE! I WANT YOU BANISHED FROM MY KINGDOM. WALK THE PLANK! GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!"

"Not so fast," she said, nimbly jumping back to her feet. She raised her sword and swung it down, but I lifted my paper blade above my head before she could strike. We went on, bashing our swords together for what seemed like hours. It probably looked like nobody was winning, but she was getting tired. She had a lack of training. As we continued, she grew even tireder (am I making up words...?) and I quickly slammed the paper into her stomach. She was too tired to react quick enough, and also too tired to stay upright after that hit. She fell back once again, but one of my minions caught her before her head slammed into the table behind the one I was still standing on.

"I'M NEVER GOING TO FIND SOMEONE TO BE A PIRATE WITH ME!"

"Steph I thought I was a pirate!" everyone around me started shouting around me. Even the guy who caught Jessica was trying to get my attention.

"SILENCE!" I shouted, easily getting their attention.

"We went over this. None of you will ever be pirates unless you can beat me in battle. And only Michael has!" I glanced sadly at the boy who had shouted 'Fight' earlier.

"Michael. Start finding me recruits. One day we will be the MIGHTYEST CREW OF PIRATES!" With that, Michael ran out of the class, after saluting me. Why'd he do that? We're pirates, not soldiers.

I jumped off the table and walked over to the teacher.

"You're really bad at keeping control of your class. You might want to fix that before the princip-" I was cut off short by a booming voice.

"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE? WHY WAS MR. STEVENSON ABOUT TO WALK OUT OF THIS CLASSROOM?" I glanced over at the voice to see Michael helplessly standing next to the principal.

"I told you, teacher person." I told the teacher, who now looked like a fish. I tapped her face a couple of times with the paper sword and walked over to the principal. I tapped his shoulder with the sword to get his attention and he looked down at me.

"Mr. The teacher did nothing about these people attacking me, I had to fight them or I would've DIED!" The principal snatched the sword out of my grip, and my mouth dropped.

"Miss Stevenson. Your 'pirate' game is getting out of control. This has to end." He then took the hat off my head, and stepped away from me.

"Next time I enter this class, I want you all to be acting like normal people AND I don't want to see any more hats or swords. Now, Daniel, you can stay here." He looked at a boy who I hadn't noticed earlier, and I also turned my heartbroken gaze to him. He was looking at me curiously, before nodding at the principal. No, I didn't know his name. Or any of the other teachers. After all, I'd only been here for a couple of months. And I intend on leaving, as soon as possible.
