Imagine you're Nancy. You went to visit your grandmother on her deathbed in a town which is seventy or so miles away from home. Blake's your fiance.
The first part of the chat is through texts and the remaining is through phone calls.

Blake : Oh my god Nancy. I'm so sorry. I'll come right away. It'll take me a few hours though, since the place is too far.

Nancy : I really don't know how to tell you this.

Nancy : I have this weird thing with me right now.

Nancy : Some kind of a book.
Blake : Huh? What do you mean Nancy? You should stop texting me and stay with your parents. Your mom will probably need you the most right now.
Nancy : Yeah. She's a mess. My mom and grandma probably had the best mother-daughter bond.
Nancy : I'll go to her for now, but I gotta tell you something later.
Blake : Later baby. Go stay with your mom. I'm packing. I'll be there soon.
Blake : Bye.
Nancy : Bye.
