So it all started in high school when me and my twin sister Rebecca were very much inseparable, Oh yeah..and I am Riana. But anyways we were the sisters that were not to be messed with, not saying we were a threat but Still nobody touched us. We grew up in this place called Gary, IN , the city is known for crime but we getting out of here in a couple weeks because we are finally graduating. I was with my boyfriend since 8th grade Javon Welks. As my dad Nick say he wasn't my boyfriend until he said I could date. My dad fought custody from my mom Yvonne who was on drugs when were 8 but she did clean. Except she got married to this man who didn't treat her the best, it seemed like she started doing good and then started doing bad. So we really don't have much contact with her anymore since she has a new life and doesn't want to be bothered. My dad worked hard to take care of us and he did, even if  it seems like he didn't wanna date. My sister wasn't no help either when it came to that,  she was so mean to people. Now my sister she loves to party and get her way probably because my dad spoiled us. She wasn't serious about relationships yet, she says I'm still young and don't wanna be tied down. She used to complain that I never really want to go out with her but I did most of the time to make sure she was cool. I usually made Javon tag along so I wont have to worry about any guys hitting on me. I love my sister I really do it just seems like she really doesn't care about her actions.

Finally its graduation day and I cant wait to go off to school and start my new life with the love of my life by my side. As I get ready to go to my bathroom I hear my dad arguing with a voice I haven't heard in a long time.

"Yvonne you don't deserve to be there, you haven't been in their lives, not even what's going in it." Nick yells.

"They are my kids too. The reason I haven't seen them is because of you, didn't even give me a chance to." Yvonne said.

"Well if you wasn't up your new husband ass, maybe you would had been. And does he even know you here?" Nick says.

"I left him. I couldn't take it no more!" Yvonne yells.

"So where you staying now?" Nick asks.

" In a hotel since I'm still working and I want to see my babies graduate." Yvonne sobs.

I run down the stairs to see if I could stop the madness. "Dad let her come to the graduation, we still have tickets left." I say.

"Baby girl go back upstairs and get ready." Nick says.

"No just let her come she has a right to come and its not your decision its ours." I say.

"Well if that's the case go ask your sister." Nick says with his arms folded.

I can see the laughter in his eyes because he knows my sister will say no. And I'm thinking to myself this is not fair because my sister doesn't care for our mom at all. I still do just never tried to contact her because of her situation. I ran upstairs and knocked on Rebecca door, who seems to be still in bed but wide awake. I walked in and sat on her bed and just looked at her with this face.

"Ugh why you looking at me like that?" Rebecca asks.

"Well mom is downstairs and she wants to go to our graduation and dad says its up to us." I say.

"That's why I heard yelling downstairs. I just didn't feel like getting up to see." Rebecca says.

" Yeah so I want her to come so will you let her?" I ask.
