Chapter 2 - Hello Neighbor

It's been two hours since I've arrived in Murphy Beach. I've already finished unpacking and Aunt Becky went somewhere to pick up dinner.

It was just me, myself and I. Alright that sounded dorky, but yeah it was just me.

I walked outside onto the porch and sat on the swingy bench and looked out at the street. It was empty. Ugh this town was so boring I wish i was back at home.

I then heard the sound of a door opened I turned to look and saw a girl and boy come out. They looked my age.

They were muttering things.

"Babe, do I have to go?" The girl pouted. "I'm going to miss you." She hugged the boy.

"I know Clara, but you heared my mom." He said. "And you know that I'll text you and I'll see you tomorrow at the bonfire, I promise" He hugged Clara.

Ugh they for sure needed to get a room. They were one of those couples.

"Fine Tucker, but give me a kiss." Clara said, she stood on her tippy toes waiting for tucker to lean in for a kiss, but he gently kissed her not on the lips, but on the cheek. I almosted laughed, she looked upset.

I watched Clara walk to her car and drove off. When I turend to look at Tucker he was looking down at his feet and shaking his head. I wonder why.

I sneezed.

He must of heard me because he turned and looked at me. We made direct eye contact.

Oh shit.

"Ummmm hello Neighbor." I awkwardly said, Oh god what did I just say.

"Uhm hey....who are you?" Tucker asked in confusion.

I stood up from where I was sitting to somewhat get a better look at Tucker.

"My names Alexa Bakermen, I'm...I, I, I, I... I mean I'm Becky's niece visiting from California. That's who I am. And you are?" I must of sounded so weird.

"I'm Tucker Hensen, nice to meet you Alexa." He smiled and waved. "I guess I'll see you around."

Tucker walked back into the house. Hearing the sound of the door shut made me sad.

Why.

Tucker Hensen was gorgeous. His eyes, his hair, and his smile. God, just oh my god.

Becky arrived home "Later with some Chinese food.

We ate on the couch and watched 90210. One of my favorites shows. After 5 episodes and a full stomatch, both Becky and I retreated to our rooms.

I turned on my phone to see if anything new was happening.

*It read*

Mommy (3 missed calls)

Dad (1 missed call) (2 messages)

Sierra (10 messages)

Billy (2 missed calls) (5 messages)

Ugh why was Billy calling and texting me? I thought we were done. Billy and I go way back. We broke up about 4 weeks from todays. Ugh I missed him.
