How It All Started (Fuyuhiko x Reader)

Chapter 5: Can we still be friends?

(a/n this is going to be kind of a short chapter, sorry! But I hope you enjoy it!)

You had fallen asleep in the car on the way to your house which you shared with Mikan and Chiaki. So when you did finally arrive Peko had carried in Mikan because you had both fallen asleep and let's just say a certain someone had a really big soft spot in his heart for you so he carried you in while Chiaki opened the door with her keys.

Chiaki directed Fuyuhiko to your room whilst Peko was currently tucking in Mikan softly careful not to wake her up. Fuyuhiko was having some trouble, everytime he tried to put you down you would cling onto him, and can I just say if this boy didn't think you were an angel he would have just dropped you at the door and left- Natsumi of course was talking with Chiaki about a game she was playing.
"Goddamnit y/n just lemme go-"
He stopped talking for a second, then he picked up a body pillow and put his jacket on it which made a perfect substitute.
He gave you the pillow and you couldn't tell the difference.
"Sweet Dreams.. y/n"
He silently snuck out of the room, and was stopped by Chiaki and Natsumi, Peko was playing a video game that Chiaki had given her, it looked like some type of sword game..
Anyways!
"So.. Fuyuhiko, can you tell me the dirt on you and y/n?"
Chiaki said while Natsumi grinned.
"D-dirt? T-the fuck are you t-talking about?"
His cheeks lit up a bit
"I think I saw you hugging y/n in Junko's store?"
She said putting a finger to her lip as if she was thinking about it.
"I-i was just apologizing!- D-dumbass!"
Natsumi laughed a bit and teased get brother
"Brother, you sure are stuttering alot and your face is a bit red."
Chiaki smiled a bit
"By any chance.. Do you.. Like, like, y/n?"
She said in a calming yet teasing tone
"I- we're just friends.. I hope.."
Suddenly Fuyuhiko's cute baby face turned into a sad one, he really did mess up.. He hit you for Pete's sake! How could you forgive him so easily? It was all to good to be true, he wanted to know how such a beautiful person as yourself would be so kind to someone like him of all people.
Chiaki put a hand on his shoulders
"Y/n is a very caring person, she's kind as well, but I can tell you remorse for hitting her."
She said soothingly, it was like she was trying to comfort Fuyuhiko.
Natsumi smiled
"Y/n has the day off tomorrow! You should take her on a date."
She stated proudly,
Fuyuhiko deadpanned
"I'm not romantic at all how would that even work?" he crossed his arms as he spoke.
Chiaki mumbled something about a dating simulator then rolled her eyes,
"We'll help you out with that!"
Natsumi and Mikan said quickly.
"Now go home and get some rest!" Natsumi pulled Peko to the car and waited for Fuyuhiko.
Chiaki smiled
"Fuyuhiko I'm really hoping you can make y/n happy, she's been so stressed about everything, so be ready tomorrow."
He nodded his head and opened the door to his car and sat down.
He looked out at the stars as they drive home,
"Y/n... Can we still be friends?.."
