I phoned his parents and his other friends. No one knew where he was.
When I was at school, Mrs Burns the receptionist approached me and asked me to follow her. I thought it was something to do with my role as school president but this time the walk to the Head teachers office felt uncomfortably different. As I pushed open the white door there sat 8 teachers on that itchy blue sofa. The all stared at me as if I was something from a zoo, I realised these where all my subject teachers and sat on the red chair was the Head teacher .
" Jane, take a seat" my head turned sharply causing me to loose my balance and nearly fall over. I recovered and sat.
" We have had some news from Alex, he called this morning to say he wont be returning for a very long time. The line kept on breaking up and according to the police. The number he called on is untraceable so we don't know where he is. He told me he was in a life threating situation and was only allowed to tell me this much." I sat there in silence not wanting to say anything, my whole world has been tipped upside down. After a while of silence I stormed out of the room and ran home panting not wanting to stop. Feeling like if I stopped I would never see Alex again.
