Cal and Ethan arrived at the hospital
Cal: charlie, Connie help her she's got a high temperature.
Charlie: alright cal let's take her throw two small resus
Cal and Ethan and Charlie,Connie all enter small resus with matilda in cal's arms Cal places Matilda on the bed
Connie: what injections has she had cal
Cal: she is up to date with them all as far as I know
Connie: well will put on antibiotics to bring the fever down and check her every hour
Cal: thanks Connie
Connie leaves the room while Charlie gives Matilda some antibiotics Cal and Ethan sit by the bed
Ethan: cal I hate to leave both of you but I've got to do some work
Cal: its fine nibbles go me and Charlie will stay with her
Charlie: actually cal I've got to check on some other patients so I'll see you later
Cal: all right Charlie
Ethan: your sure you'll be alright cal
Cal: yes Ethan just go do some work and stop worrying about me
Ethan: I have to worry about you, your my big brother
Cal: nibbles go do some work
Ethan: you might fooled everyone else but you don't fool me
Cal: Ethan I will be fine
Cal stood up and put his arm around Ethan to comfort him and Ethan did the same then Ethan left the room while cal stayed with Matilda
Cal: toad you are scared me at the flat please don't have anything serious wrong with you because I don't want to lose you
Matilda: makes normal baby noises and does something that smells in her nappy
Cal: toad guess I am going to have to change your nappy
then Cal goes over to the change bag for a nappy and wipes then he gets a vest as well then walks to the bed
Cal: right toad come here
Cal turns her a little bit so he can change her and a few minutes later she is all change so he turns straight facing the door
Cal: right toad that's is that done now all we have got to do is get you better
Matilda: makes some more normal noises
then Charlie enters to check if she is okay
Charlie: right lets see how she is doing A few minutes later Matilda is all clear and can go home
Cal: let's get you home toad
Ethan enters the room
Cal: hey nibbles she is all clear so I am taking her home
Ethan: that's great cal
Cal: it's not great Ethan
Ethan: why isn't it great cal she's your daughter and she's okay to go home so I don't get it
Cal: it's not great Ethan it's awesome it is the best news I have herd all day
Ethan: don't do that cal you had worried that you weren't happy about or something Cal: course I am happy about nibbles but had you fooled didn't I
Ethan: yes you did cal
Cal: I sense a but coming
Ethan: yes there is because she is still got to stay on antibiotics for the next few days Cal: I know Ethan got them packed in the bag and everything else we brought with us just got to get Matilda in her carseat and get her home
Ethan: good I will see you in a bit still on shift
Cal: okay Ethan
Ethan: now I sense a but coming
Cal: because aren't you going to kiss your health niece
Ethan: yes cal I will kiss her before I go
Ethan kissed Matilda on the forehead said he will see her and cal at tea time and left to do more work then cal put her in the carseat and they both left the ed in Cal's car When they got home cal took her out of the car seat and placed her in her bouncer
Cal: right toad lets make you either bottles to last you the night
Matilda: made some normal noise
Cal: okay that's done so now you might be hungry yes no maybe
Cal pick her up
Cal: right toad are you going to have some of this nice bottles
Matilda: starts to cry
Cal puts the bottles down and comforts his daughter
Cal: it's alright baby you don't haven't got to
Matilda: she stops after a few minutes
Ethan enters the flat
Ethan: hey cal and Matilda you both ok
Cal: we are awesome today
Ethan: how about you our sweetheart
Matilda: make noises like she is saying she's okay
Ethan: I guess that means she's okay then
Cal: I guess so nibbles
Ethan: if she calls me that you will pay you know
Cal: no it will be funny and oh no Matilda he's going to make me pay
Ethan: she better not learn it
Cal: kids pick things up nibbles not much I can do
Ethan: okay what do you what for dinner
Cal: dinners already on it's way so don't worry
Cal puts Matilda in her bouncer and then the door bell goes and Ethan answers it and pays for the dinner then puts on plates for him and cal
Ethan: this is a better idea then cooking cal
Cal: see cal knows best
Ethan: sometimes
Cal: what was that nibbles
Ethan: nothing cal
Cal: alright then
Cal turns to look at Matilda and she is sleeping in the bouncer
Cal: Ethan look
Ethan: look at what cal
Cal points at Matilda sleeping
Ethan: oh I see, someone tried and they fell asleep
Cal: yep let's finish this and get and ourselves to bed
Ethan: I agree
Cal and Ethan finish there dinner and then Ethan washes up while cal puts Matilda to bed in his room then Ethan enters his room to join cal in watching her sleep
Cal: she's so cute when she is sleeping
Ethan: I agree with that.
Cal: we best get some sleep before we have to get up to change her or something
Ethan: probably best cal
Cal: goodnight bro
Ethan: goodnight cal
They hug and then Ethan leaves the room and goes to bed and cal gets in bed to but not before kissing Matilda on the head
Cal: goodnight toad sweet dreams love you baby
Then they are all in bed fast asleep
