- Amora Himura (main POV
I get home from school at around 7:30pm and open the door and walk in closing the door behind me. "Hey Mum, I'm home!" I call out into the apartment, no response 'My mum's not home as perusal, she's probably still at the pub' I think to myself as I throw the keys on the kitchen counter and headed straight for my room.
I wander into my room and spot my speaker. Decidingly, I disconnect my AirPods reconnecting them to my speaker. I then place my phone on my bedside table then I press play, letting the slow song fill the room (it's the song linked above). I drop my bag next to my bed with with quite an obnoxious bang, obviously caused by my thousands of neglectided high school textbooks. "urgh, fuck school ", I mumble under breathe as I sluggishly walk towards the tiny apartment balcony. Slowly I open the slide doors without much effort and take a step out into the evening breeze, causing goose bumps to raise on my body as I hum along quietly to the slow rhythm. I pull up a chair and prop my legs up on the banister as I close my eyes while I imagine being anywhere but here.

By the time the song ended it was already dark, then I was pulled back into reality causing me to frown more than I already was. I stare up at the stars and wonder if I should call the pub to see if my mum is alright. A voice no louder than a whisper, ripped me out of my thoughts.
"Amora, Amora" I hear it say.
I franticly start to look all around me, picking up the closes thing to me as a weapon (a chair) "Who are you, show your sel-" I abruptly stop in mid-sentence as a boy like shadow emerges from the darkness, however before I could to anything I am swept up into the air. "Holy shit, holy shit!!" I scream, holding on tightly to a...'boy? shadow? demon? holy shit, this is just a dream I probably just fell asleep on the chair back at home. yea that's exactly what's happening, just whatever you do don't look dow- I looked down, fuck this is definitely a nightmare'.
Oxygen starts to wear thin once we broke through the clouds causing me to feel drowsy. 'I just need to stay awake' think to myself but the lack of oxygen slowly lulls me into comfortable darkness.
