Chapter 1 - The Spark Ignites

"Hello team RWBY, I'd like to be the first to tell you your team will be receiving another teammate.. Her name is (F/N) (L/N) Please choose one of you to meet her at the front of the school to show her to your dorms later today at 11:00 AM" 

Professor Ozpin always has his reasons for everything... This is no mistake, Team RWBY IS receiving another team mate. 

"You are all dismissed any further questions can be asked later"

 Ozpin dismissed team RWBY and they did as told.

"So... Who's going to meet up with the newbie first?" Blake asked, Everyone looked to the team leader Ruby for the answer but before she could answer, Yang beat her to it 

"I'll do it!" she said eager to meet the newbie.

"Well that settles it then! oh! lets go add another bed to the dorms while we wait!" They redesigned the dorm to fit another bed preparing for the new team members arrival.

(Y/N)'s POV

Someone should be meeting me here any minute now.. Oh god i hope i don't embarrass myself in front of my new team! 

"Hey.. (Y/N) (L/N) right? I'm Yang from team RWBY"  You look up to see a beautiful girl with Blonde hair and.. Mesmerizing purple eyes that i couldn't help staring at.. 

"i uh.. Y..Yes i'm (Y/N) (L/N) Nice to meet you Yang" She's so.. Gorgeous! I couldn't believe that we'd be in the same dorm room.. team!

Yang's POV

Wow... This is our new team mate? This is going to be so exciting! 

"Alright follow me to our teams dorm!" I eagerly led (Y/N) to the dorm but right before i let (Y/N) in...I stopped her (Y/N) seemed surprised at this sudden move only making me smirk at her, I throw a  wink at (Y/N) "

Hope to get to know you better cutie" 

i turned around to the door knowing that she'd have a million questions of what just happened...  I opened the door handle and was greeted by Ruby...

Everyone's POV

Yang just walked into the room with (Y/N) following closely behind her. As soon as she came in Ruby ran up to her and extended a hand out 

"Hi! I'm Ruby Rose! Yang's little sister.. I'm the leader of team RWBY awesome to have another teammate!" The young girl excited to meet her new teammate was of course the first one to run up to you,

 "Oh.. Hi Ruby, i'm sure you already know my name but i'm (F/N) (L/N)" You say extending your hand out to Ruby, Weiss and Blake introduce themselves too and tell you to make yourself at home and so you did.

(Y/N) POV 

While i was unpacking my stuff i couldn't help but notice Yang... was staring at me the whole time, at that point, Weiss, Ruby and Blake had all went out for lunch leaving me and Yang alone.. Together.. My heart is racing waiting for the cold silence to end 

"So.. Yang" I nervously try to break the silence between us but instead Yang just smiled at me. After 2 minutes it felt like she was studying me like I was some sort of book, She stood up and started walking towards me Yang stopped right in front of my face us only being inches apart from each other, Out of instinct i step backwards at that point she had me against the wall blushing visibly.

Yang's POV

"So, (Y/N) I couldn't help but wonder.. Am i making you nervous?" I smirked at her stumbling upon her words... Her beautiful (E/C) eyes stared straight into mine.. It was amazing. I put my arms out to both her sides so she was completely pinned to the wall.... She finally answered 

"Yes You're definitely making me nervous" (Y/N) Started to answer more confidently without stuttering.. I liked it it was adorable...  

I leaned in closer to her face and moved my arms around (Y/N)'s waist and held her tight we kissed.. it wasn't as passionate at first but it didn't take long before it turned into a passionate kiss.
