Slowly the night creeps upon your consciousness
Sun no longer in sight
Maybe the sadness is all in your mind
So you don't have to put up a fight
Maybe when you close your eyes your dream may come true
But don't always rely on your dreams, because nightmares are dreams too
As you lay down remember your memories
Then, maybe you'll learn how to learn
The darkness is now taking over
Your body, your heart, and your soul
But don't let it corrupt your mind
