Hey guys, thanks for taking your time just to dip in and see if this is a book worth your time. Since you're here reading this it means you made it past that dreadful preview of the book. For that, I am truly proud of you. Now enough of my rambling, I hope you guys enjoy this attempt at a book.

I have always known what I've wanted to do with my life. Grow up, become a photographer and travel the world. Now only if I could get out of this quaint town of Rome, Georgia. Now don't let the fancy name fool you, this small town is full of rednecks, oddballs, and not the sort of place to find posh, fancy, stuck up people. I've lived here my whole life and have traveled around to a few places but not as many as I wish.

I have this idea in my head that I feel one of the biggest regrets of all of mankind should be not seeing most of the world we live in. Maybe this isn't a regret that all of mankind would have but surely would be one of mine. I want to travel to at least 3 other continents, mainly Europe, Australia, and South America, I would also love to see any other continents if the opportunity plants itself in front of me. Not only do I want to go outside my own continent to see the world but I want to explore my own. There are so many places in life that are just so beautiful it would be a waste of a life not to see. Taking photographs of the beautiful Earth we live on is an opportunity to not pass up especially when this place we called home is being destroyed by humans ourselves.

I get pulled out of my thoughts by one of the slaves of the devil himself, my alarm.

Waking up is one of the hardest things to do in a day in my opinion. Not only does it wake me up for torture, otherwise known as school, but it also brings me from my only true place of solitude. Now don't get me wrong I'm no slacker or bad student at school, I love to learn its just the package deal that comes with school. Like drama, rumors, stress, teachers, oh and let's not forget the big one, people. So when I hear that horrific, annoying sound coming from beside me I know the pain that comes alongside it.

I drag myself out of bed falling to the floor with a thud. I quickly get up with a newfound pain in my rear end and start to get ready for the "glorious day" that is Monday, not to mention it's also the first day of school, that's right this year I'm now a Junior. I head to my bathroom to wash my face, brush my teeth and comb out my troll head of blonde hair. I then head out back into my room to pick out my outfit. I throw on a pair of black ripped jeans, a maroon t-shirt, and my black high top converse. I grab my backpack, head through the kitchen grabbing a granola bar, a water bottle, and my medication. I stop to pour some dog food into a bowl and place it on the floor. I then walk out the door locking it behind me.

School is normally about a 9-minute walk on a good day and considering it was nice and sunny I decided I could use some fresh air. Now on bad days when it rains, I will be taking my car to school, sadly these days are just around the corner.

I arrive at school and look down at my phone. I realize I should have probably checked it earlier considering I had 60 messages just from this morning. There is only one person who would dare text me this much. Riley. Otherwise known as my best friend. I skim through the text seeing a bunch of the same things.

What are you wearing?

Helloooo??

Pick up you dumb baboon!!!! I need help!!!!!!

When I see you at school you better have a pretty good excuse as to why you aren't answering. Meet me outside the main doors.

Oh, no...I'm in deep horse shit. Just as I look up from my phone I see a swarm of red hair coming at me. Riley comes fuming up to me.
