"To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people just exist."

Oscar Wilde was a popular London playwright, whose witty and cynical stories gained the appreciation of many. He was born on October 16th, 1854, and died in 1900. His only novel is the famed, and controversial, The Portrait(or Picture) of Dorian Gray, which is about a young man who accidentally sells his soul in while gazing a picture of himself, giving him the ability to remain pure and unchanged forever. However, this seemingly amazing gift comes with an unpredicted consequence that tears him apart until the very end.
