They always told her that one day, she'd grow up to live a happily ever after. She learned around age 6 that happily ever afters were only for the lucky ones. The normal ones. You see, in her house, lived a big bad wolf. The big bad wolf had no morals or conscious. Everyday, he groped her. He stole a bit of her innocence with every stroke, squeeze, and look. For 8 years, she endured the pain caused by this monster, blind to the fact that it is not normal for your stepfather to touch you. Oblivious that he was a sick, sorry excuse of a man. She thought that's how men were supposed to show their love. She thought nothing of it, until that was all she could think about. She never knew that this part of her life, would haunt her for the rest of her days. Just because a man had to take more than he deserved. Just because he stole what wasn't his. Because he touched her skin, and bruised her soul.
