Chapter 1:

I have never been in a hotel room; in

fact I have never been alone, without my parents, for as long as I have planned. New York isn't far from where I live, but far enough that I can't walk back home. The sky was light blue that it almost looked white. Clouds of pink and orange were faint but beautiful. I walked on the sidewalk listening to each step and I thought about what was to come. Grasping my phone I

wondered how much longer until they would land. I was in the city, the city that never sleeps; the most busiest place in the world, and I was surrounded in it. I was not fascinated for I have been here before. My only concern was where is the hotel and will my dream actually come true? There was still so much time until I finally get to be in their presence. Until we all are standing together, looking each other in the eyes in person for the first time.

Chapter 2

They has met before, but I have never met the two of them. Kylie Shapiro and Chickie Slane were the only people I really was excited to meet. They were the only two people I trusted completely and the only ones who truly cared about me for who I am. Not many people impressed me, but they did. Internet friends or not they still are the best individuals I have ever come across. Searching for my room key in my bag I nervously looked around me. I wasn't one to be scared of anything or that something would happen to me but I had an uncertain feeling. I opened the door with the key and closed the door behind me. It had been the first time I have ever been I this room. On the back of the door were was an eyehole to look at who your visitors or through the door, a door handle with a knob to look the door with and a padlock above that to secure the and keep the door completely locked and shut. The first thing I did was lock the door and walk over to the window. The view was of another building. Faded brown and tons of windows with their blinds closed. The sun was going down which made our room dim with a hint of yellowish orange rays of run peaking in. Beige walls enclosed me in the wide area of the one bedroom we'd later have to share. There were two queen sized beds with white sheets and cream colored pillows. In between the beds was a dark cherry finished night stand that had only a reading lamp and a few pamphlets spread out nicely. The clock on the wall read 5:20. "They will be here soon" I told myself. "Only two about more hours". The time seemed to move ever so slowly. I sat on the bed a stared the the coffee colored carpet that didn't compliment the room so well. I laid back and let the minutes tick by. No texts or calls still on my phone. This wait seemed like forever.

It was now 6:00 and the knots in my stomach only got worse. "Is this actually happening?" I questioned myself in shock and excitement. The plane is suppose to land at 6:30

My hands were shaking and my head was spinning. As I closed my eyes my cellphone rang. I sat up abruptly, giving myself an even bigger headache. It was only my mom. "Hi, how is everything?" Her voice was soft but had a panic like undertone. "Mom I'm fine, I'm in the room. Everything is aright." I responded calmly to insure her that I was safe. "Let me know when they land and get to the room. I just want to me sure your fine and everything is going well. I miss you and I hope you have a great time." Her words were sincere which was unlike her. Apart of me felt that she was scared and the the other was happy that I'm happy for this moment to come. My mom still doesn't understand internet friends or the significance of them and how Kylie and Chickie mean to me. "Thank you mom. I'm so grateful you are allowing me to do this. It means the world to me. Got to go. Going to start unpacking." "Okay, well I love you so much Ericca and well all miss you. Have fun. Bye." My mom always worried about me and my safety, however now that I'm older she has learned to be accepting of how I am old enough to leave for a week. But still, she missed me. "Okay mom. Love you. Bye." I hung up. I passed the room waiting. Waiting for a call. I was worried that maybe the flight was delayed or that something happened and they aren't able to leave the plane. Assuring myself that they will be alright my phone rang.

Chapter 3:

It was Kylie. I smiled and butterflies formed in the pit of stomach replacing the knots. "We landed!" Her voice was so cheerful and relieving. "I'm in the hotel room. I can't wait to see you too" I starred out my window in hopes that if I looked long enough, they would already be here. "Chickie and I just have to get our bags and get a taxi. See you in a few" she hung up before I was able to say "okay." My excitement was out of control. "This IS happening" I said to myself. I could not believe what was happening. Everything seemed so surreal to me. The sun was going down and the room became darker. The orange rays that filled the room before had vanished. I turned on the lights and the room lit up so beautifully. I saw that there were headlights beaming through the window, then flicked off as I heard a cars engine stop and breaks screech. Then I heard nothing.

Chapter 4:

It seemed as if this moment was like an old film, containing no sound. Nervousness filled my body as I grabbed my phone and squeezed it tight. I remove the key from my pocket and locked the door behind me. Locking the door, I room a deep breath and began to walk. The hallway was small. The carpet was red and thin. It felt like I was on a cloud. The walls, like our room were beige. I walked slowly trying to remain calm, then I started running. I wasn't really sure why I began to run but it just felt right. The elevator doors just a few feet away from me opened and there stood the two people who were my true friends. The only two people I really trusted. There in front of me for the first time was Chickie and Kylie. The moment felt as it were in slow motion. We dropped everything in our hands and ran. We ran into each other's arms and hugged each other so tightly. Tears rolled down our faces as we shared our first hellos. I couldn't believe my eyes. "I'm so happy to see you guys!" I shared with them after we let go from our long hug. "Me too Eri" said Chickie as she smiled at me. Chickie's smile was beautiful and so precious that I couldn't help but smile so big. "I honestly can't believe this I just... Oh my god" said Kylie laughing out of happiness. Kylie had this aura of energy around her that instantly made you gain some if that energy too. Standing there in the middle of a hotel I never knew existed, in a state and hour or two from mine, with two people who live around four to five hours away from me was absolutely unreal. We walked down the hall to our rooms. "You guys got your keys right?" They both said "yes" and I opened the door. I turned on the light to show them the room we'd share for the next week. "It's beautiful" said Kylie. "Where are we all going to sleep?" Chickie looked at both the beds and back at me. "Maybe we can push them together and make one big bed for us to share" I laughed and thought about us all ending up in the same bed at the end of the night messing around and being silly like we always are whenever we talk. "I'm hungry and the plane food sucked soooo bad." Kylie laughed at Chickie because Chickie slept the whole plane ride to bit know what the food even tasted liked. I loved that in the first few minutes we were all laughed at each other. It was as if we were sisters. I absolutely loved it. "Well I don't know about you guys but I'm ordering pizza" picking up the pamphlets on the night stand I chose the best looking menu to order our good from. "What do you guys want?" "Just get us pizza. I'm going to go unpack" said Chickie. It was around 7:15 and we all looked tired. "It has been such a long day but I'm glad I'm here. I can't even believe that were all here in New York!" Kylie flopped onto the bed and laid there. I sat beside her and Chickie joined us. This was perfect. I was finally with the

two people who mean the most to me. I couldn't be any happier.
