today was more ok then yesterday so i'm glad for that

i started working on my history research paper (oops) anD ITS SO INTERESTING YAYYY

my topic is japanese american internment camps and ugh it really hits home

like it's probably the biggest public event of asian american racism and it is so impactful and i love it because of that but it also makes me cry a lot so ahhhh (my close cousins are japanese american and i know someone's grandmother who was in manzanar which is crazy)

ok so a sad story from today

i got picked up from school and my dad told me that we were going to get boba and then go to the library for homework and i was like YASSSSSSS

so then! we picked up my bro and went to get boba

and guess what

WE FORGOT THE RESTAURANT DOESNT OPEN ON MONDAYS AHHHHH MY H E A R T

oh at the library i got the book "we all looked up" and it looks so good argh has anyone here read it?? is it as good as i've heard???

oh also a guy texted me first eheheh but then i think i waited too long because it's been like an hour later and i just remembered to text him back whoOPS

AOTD: ok sorry for the depressing questions first of all oops. second, i think the japanese american interment camps were one of the most terrible things the government of america has ever done. i mean, it's basically our own "nazi germany" moment, however thank god we didn't have death camps. but still. it was extremely racist and unjust and should have never happened.
