Whiteout Collision

I was too late; too slow. The vehicles collided with a horrifying smash.

A ripple passed through the vehicles as they met. Glass slowly cracked in spider web patterns then shattered. One driver flung forward; I threw a sphere of stabilizing foam towards her. The other driver was ejected from his vehicle in a spray of glass and metal. Snowfall seemed frozen mid-air as I propelled myself towards the victim. Debris smacked me while I shielded the airborne driver and wrapped him in my cape for protection.

We skidded to a stop while the foam encased the female driver.
