hey everyone! i'm so sorry it's taken so long for me to upload this... also thank you for all of your awesome ideas and requests.
i know nobody requested this chapter but I feel like it's pretty important. and.... well I tried doing a mobile tutorial but it kind of failed because i feel like everyone reading this is a much better mobile designer than I am! But next chapter i'm going to give you guys some tips on blending which can also be applied mobile editing softwares. anyways let's get onto the chapter:
finding stock!
it's my least favourite part of designing but it's an important one.
but what is stock?
stock is simply the images you use in the cover or other project.
so where is the best place to find stock?
well that depends on if you want to pay and get high definition of exactly what you want or are a cheapo like me and just get free stuff.
so i don't really know anything about finding great paid stock so I'll just list a few places where I get my free stock from.
some of my favourite websites are:
Deviantart- has a great variety of stock photos, psd colorings, brushes, pngs, and a bunch of other useful things
Pexels- has high quality royalty free images
Pixabay- same as Pexels
Pngtree- for when you're feeling lazy and can't be bothered to cut out images yourself, Pngtree offers a range of pngs, vectors, and borders.
Google images- guys seriously, don't be afraid of google images! there's a whole load of good stock on there but just make sure you go into the tools and refine your search for only large images so you can get the best quality you can.
so that's basically what i use but let me know in the comments what your own favourites are!
