A breeze came beside me as I was walking to George Mason University. It's March 29th, 2020. My boyfriend, Tyler, was right in front of me, his cell phone was very loud, and he was drinking coffee. Well, both of us had coffee first thing in the morning. He's very sweet when he prepares coffee for me. The cell phone was playing "Location" by Khalid; it reminded us, asking each other where were we after high school. The silence broke.
"Bae, how about we could go to Applebee's after classes," Tyler offered me his invitation, "What do you think?"
"I accept the invitation," I agreed.
"Ok," he answered.
"Then it's a date," we said in unison as we started to laugh.
He hugged me and said.
"I love you."
"Love you, too."
Then, a strange men with his head down, was walking right in front of us. He wasn't looking up ahead.
Tyler pulled me to his side to avoid the strange men. He didn't change his direction. He just kept walking straight forward without looking.
"That strange men didn't even say 'excuse me'", Tyler whispered at me.
"You're right," I whispered back to him. "I have a feeling something bad is going to happen."
"Hey. Don't worry, I'm here with you. No one is going to hurt my lovely girl."
I giggle by his action. He's always defensive and he cares about me.
"Thank you," I replied as I gave him a kiss on the lips.
