Chapter 3

'Telling Management'

I bite my lip messing around with my lip ring as I looked down at the car seat that I had my arm wrapped around the best I could.

We were sat outside Simon Cowells office like naughty school boys outside a principals office.

"come in boys" Simon's voice boomed from the other side of the door making us jump

Niall told us that Simon wouldn't harm a fly but they brought him probably the most money of course he is going to be nice to them but meanwhile although we have amazing fans we don't have as many as 1D so he could easily fire is.

We walked in and the carseat that before didn't seem heavy no felt extremely heavy.

Ashton took one look at us all before opening the door and walking in, Calum and Michael gave me a comforting smile before going in after him leaving me to go last.

Once we had sat down Simom looked at us all one by one finally stopping to give me a long hard glare

"Luke, I didn't know your mum had, had another baby" he smiled but it didn't reach his eyes, how did he know?

"it isn't my mums" I said trying to make my self sound confident but it just wasn't working

"who then Luke" he took his time saying my name dragging it out

"well.." the words got stuck in my throat as a bead of sweat ran down my face

"any of you boys know" Simon glared at Ashton, Michael and Calum

"don't drag them into this, this is my mess not there's" I said finally finding my voice

"well then, go on say it" he said raising his voice his eyes making me squirm in the now uncomfortable black leather chair.

"She is mine" I whispered and he smiled triumphant

"I knew it" he yelled looking me up and down his eyes lingering on the car seat in my hand

"look the boys said they would stick by me whatever happened but I know im holding them back if I accept this so.." I took a breath

Just as the boys started to protest I held up my hand successfully making the boys quiet

"please don't get rid of the boys find them a new singer but they are three talented guy that don't deserve to end their dreams just for me" I say wiping a stray tear away from my eye before going to walk out

"Luke!" I heard Simon yell

I turned around to see him smiling

"sit down" he grinnes shaking his head

I nervously walked back over and sat down lowering my head

"I think a baby might give off a bad impression with you being so young but I now know how it feels to be a dad and its magical and well I know you boys will be big soon" Simon nods

"thank you sooo much Simon I..we can't think you enough" I smile genuinely happy

"thank you" all the boys say in turn before we leave

Maybe Niall was right, Simon isn't so bad
