Staring at the message from Erwin's wedding... It's been 3 weeks and I haven't responded to her text. Hanji... have you forgotten me? What are you doing? Should I talk to you? Or should I wait? Questions plagued me until I finally gave in to the sickness.

'Hanji, it's me, Levi.' I sent the text, hoping she'll respond.

Seconds later, she responds, 'Levi! How are you?'

'Doing fine. What about you?'

'Bored. Hey, wanna hang out?'

I nod as I typed, 'I guess. Where?' I guess? Can't take it back now, she's already seeing the text.

'No preferences. Your thoughts?'

Thinking about it, where should we go? I don't want to go where a lot of people are, but I don't want her to think that she's always going to be close to me. 'Movie theater?'

A smiley face pops up, 'Sure! But uh... can you pick me up? My car's broken and there's no buses around me.'

'I guess so. Send me your address, I'm on my way.' Hanji follows up with her address and I was already out of the door.

Finally, I can be with her. I felt my heart beating on the way to her place. What should I get her, in case if she wants something? Should I even get a gift for her? I shake my head, why am I this nervous? I shouldn't be... but why am I?

I stopped at her apartment, debating if I should go inside and get her from her room or should I tell her that I'm here, waiting outside for her. Sighing, I gave up. I went inside, after telling her that I was here, and went up to her room.

Stopping in front of her door, I knocked, "Hanji?"

Behind me, I hear a door opening. "Who are you, asking for her?"

I turned around to see an elderly woman, her hair was becoming white, lines of her once black hair were fading. Her eyes were brown, full of kindness, and her tone was protective. "Levi."

"So, Levi. What do you want with her?"

"Just taking her out to a movie theater."

"Where did you meet?"

"My friend's wedding. She was the bridesmaid and I was the best man."

"So, this is a date?"

I hesitated, "I don't know."

"Why did you decide now to take her somewhere?"

"I don't know."

"Well, I can't-" She was cut off by the door behind me opening. I turned my head slightly to see Hanji. "Why, it's Hanji."

"Hi there, Sandy. Are you seriously interrogating him?"

"I don't see the problem, Hanji."

"Levi, sorry about that. This is Sandy, Sandy, Levi."

"It's fine, Hanji." I say. Turning towards Sandy I tell her, "That's good, interrogating people that comes to your neighbors. But, I'm okay, Sandy."

"Levi's right. Anyways," Hanji takes my arm and tugs on it, "Can we go already?"

"Sure, I guess..."

I drove her to the nearest movie theater and we started to argue over which movie to watch. I wanted to watch the newest action movie, but Hanji wanted to see a science fiction one. I gave in to her pleads, at least she was happy and actually enjoying something.
